Hotel Alux Cancun  

I didn't like the hotel. It is conveniently located around the corner from the bus terminal in Cancun but the staff is not helpful, the rooms are dank and humid, the bathrooms are in bad condition with leaky showers, and the street is noisy. Breakfast food is poor quality. Also, I booked on line only to find that the rate I was charged was $10US more than if i had walked in from the street, with no explanation from the staff.

I was comming from the airport and it was close to the Ado bus terminal, since I was catching a bus first thing in the morning this was convenient and the hotel is fairly cheap.

The hotel advertises rooms for 300 pesos outside on a sign but does not seem to actually have them for this price, I noticed this price was not even listed on their rates board inside, instead the cheapest room for a single person was 480 pesos, which is not that bad really. It does feel kind of dark and dingy with stale air, I couldn't have stayed without the air conditioning though. Make sure you see the room before paying, the first room I was shown had no window and I could barely breath in it, it was very stuffy and stale. I was prepared to find another place to stay but instead I had them put me in a room with a window which was better.

La persona que tiene el turno de noche, avisado en recepción la noche anterior para que nos despertasen a las 7:15 ,se la pasa durmiendo, sin respeto alguno ni interés en despertar a los huéspedes, haciéndonos perder un transporte y obligándonos a pasar un día mas en Cancún.

Tento hotel jsme si vybrali na přespání 1 noc po příletu do Cancunu pozdě v noci před další cestou po Yucatánu. Rezervaci jsem dělala půl roku dopředu a zrušení bylo bezplatné. Vedle hotelu je oxo market otevřený 24h a hned v sousedství terminál ADO.Do přístavu Puerto Juarez taxíkem 3 min. Vnoci byla tropická bouře pokoj který jsme měli dostat měl zatečeno pod postelemi ,dostali jsme náhradní větší pokoj, snídaně kontinentální v ceně.

Está a la vuelta de la esquina de la estación de autobuses.En general el personal del hotel bastante bien.El precio está bien.

Me dijeron que se podía dejar la maleta por la tarde el día de salida y cuando llegó el momento me dijeron que el cuarto era muy pequeño y ya estaba lleno. Tenían la oficina detrá que no la usan para nada donde cabía muy de sobra una maleta pequeña de la que entra en los aviones sin facturar. De paseo con la maleta por ahí. La mayoría de la habitaciones dan a la calle y si eres de sueño ligero...
