Ana y Jose Charming Hotel and Spa  

we loved how relaxing it was and how it was set up for a feeling of privacy even though it has many rooms.

one thing, our daughters room was a bit musty upon arrival and that was off putting.

We had a great room on the second floor with a balcony and an ocean view. We liked the extra towels provided and the basket to carry them to the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious as was the one dinner we ate here. It was a bit hard to find as you will see the Ana y Jose Beach Club first, but must continue until you see the Ana y Jose Charming Hotel (right at a speed bump).

We ended up paying 6% more than the booking.com quote due to currency exchange rates used by the hotel as our reservation was quoted in usd. In the future, I would get my quote in local currency (a feature of the booking.com website) or pay cash in usd (as we did in another hotel - be sure to get a written receipt). The 6% was not a huge amount but it would have added up had we stayed longer than 3 nights and not settled all our lunch and dinner charges in Mexican pesos.

We had a beautiful suite (Encantada) with balcony overlooking the sea. Two very comfortable chaise longs to hang out on and a hammock, always in the shade. Breakfast was served and absolutely excellent as was the food in the restaurant. Comfortable bed and pillows and very attractive room.

No full length mirror. Bathroom was open planned at the rear and we prefer enclosed toilet. Was cold at first in the bedroom but we turned up the air conditioning.

I was charged 15% more than the rate I was quoted on booking.com

The location is fantastic!!! Rooms are big and nicely decorated, staff very efficient and kind, food excelent. very very very relaxing!!! Can't wait to go tere again!!ASAP

This place was amazing. My wife and I went here on our honeymoon following a recommendation from my brother. One week at Ana Y Jose hit the spot for me and I would highly recommend this place and the staff(who were very kind, helpful, and thoughtful).

Der Besuch war diesmal nicht geplant. Da wir jedoch in der Gegend waren und zwei Naechte anhaengen konnten, entschieden wir uns aufgrund der sehr guten Erfahrungen wieder für Any z Jose. Im oberen Segment ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhaeltnis. Variantenreiches a la carte-Fruehstueck, Klimaanlage im Zimmer und die Ambiance sind wirklich bemerkenswert. Wir kommen wieder.

Vackert rum med himmelsäng och underbar terass med hängmatta. Sköna solstolar på stranden med vackra gardiner. Mysig restaurang och på kvällarna tände de facklor vid entren.

Es un excelente hotel con extraordinario servicio. Cuidan todos los detalles, en todos los aspectos. Gran restaurante, excelentes habitaciones. Todo el personal es muy amable y eficiente. Gran experiencia, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Del hotel todo me gusto. Unicamente encontré en esta última visita los precios mucho más altos que antes y me parecen un poco excesivos.

Wir haben es aufgrund der bewertung und des vergleichsweise guten preises gewählt. Kein discount-angebot, was in tulum und an dieser lage kein wunder darstellt. Alles openair wie hier üblich. Auch reception und restaurant. Bungalows teils doppelstöckig und schön eingerichtet. Süsswasserduschen. Der fisch 'siaan kaan' eine absolute bombe. Ein tolles hotel.

De locatie is perpect, klein van opzet, er waren slechts een paar gasten (juli 12). Veel aandacht dus van personeel. Bed had heerlijk dikke matras. Eten, ontbijt etc was echt prima. Mooie setting van werkeljk alles.

Ik had een vier pers kamer besteld omdat er twee bedden zouden zijn van 180 breed. Maar die had men echt niet, max 150. Dar viel erg tegen, we zijn de kleinsten nl niet. Men maakte het goed met een fles chapagne, vooruit. Info op site klopt dus niet!

Sobre todo la ubicación y las instalaciones. La comida fue una gran sorpresa, sofisticada y sabrosa, pero muy cara!

Los precios son demasiado altos.

Paco et Antonio, les deux serveurs les plus gentils, la qualité du restaurant (excellente et aucun problème d ordre médical ;) ) la beauté de la plage et de la mer, la situation (effet seuls au monde) et la qualité générale des services et de l architecture .... Le Spa, sur la plage, avec la jeune fille adorable. On vient d arriver à playa del Carmen après 5 jours chez ana y jose et bien ..... Il est ou le taxi ??? !!!

The hotel is gorgeous and the dining room with sand floors is fabulous. The hotel is beautifully designed. We had a garden view room with pool but moved as the traffic noise from the nearby street was too loud. Our ocean room view that we were upgraded to was absolutely beautiful.The staff, particularly the Italian staff, was terrific. And the breakfast which is included is delicious and service great. Quiet jazz music at dinner was very nice. Food was excellent.

Five star prices for three or four star infrastructure. We often had no water, and when we did, it was sometimes scalding hot or just cold water. Given the water shortage, I was surprised they changed the towels every day even when we requested that they don'T. When we checked out we were charged for coffee packets in the room as well as the water to make it. At $400 or $500 a night, the in-room coffee should be complimentary. Not a great way to end the stay.

Perfect, everything was just perfect.

Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful. Food was quite good. Beds on the beach in the shade were very comfortable.

It was pretty damp and musty there. And when we asked questions we were sometimes misdirected.

I liked everything but the price. It could have beee my fav place for 200usd/night, its dissapointing paying twice that price. There are much more options around

La vista desde la habitación es maravillosa, la atención es excelente. El desayuno es muy bueno y muy abundante. La masajista Elizabeth es maravillosa! Súper recomendable
