English speaking helpful stuff, they can arrange a lot of trips and transportation for same price like travel agency in the city centre. Breakfast is included (choice from 5 meals).
Our room was in the other building, on the opposite side of the street, about 30meters away. Shared facilities were horrible. The kitchen was locked during the night.
The B&B was really nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good WiFi and location.
Location, breakfast is nice
Friendly owner for answering all ur question Facility is good Bed is comfortable
Good price. The gay speaks english and is very helpfoul. You can buy a bus ticket there or better, you can book a tour to Aqua Azul, Misol Ha and Palenque and stay in Palenque (good for backpackers).
Very simple, but clean and with good location. Very polite personal. Possibility to cook, what is perfect for European traveller who don´t want to eat more quasadilas and tortilas :-)
Some Australians and Kiwis behave during their stay as animals :-(
Very friendly and helpful staff, including booking tours, keeping room for us when we weren't sure if we'd stay an extra night. Really central and very cheap.
No curtains in bedrooms (though frosted glass) meant light from other rooms could be disturbing at night. Wifi didn't work in our room so had to stand in corridor.
Location and staff Really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.
The easy way how to get to the canyon sumidero, and the breakfast something that in mexico is really tricky. Before we used to stay in hotels but the quality/price was awfull then we decide to try this hostel. We were really sirprised how good was no tricks :).i recommend it!
It is on really close to the street if u have a lihgt fream can be difficult, but i have to add that maybe the traffic was due to the city festival the day after
Great value and a great breakfast. Location was convenient. We had a shared bathroom so were in the second block and it was safe and secure. The staff are helpful and booked a tour and a transfer to Guatemala for us which were both great. Wifi was good too.
The rooms are very basic which is fine for the price. Showers need a bit of care. The locks on all the doors were very loud - metal bolt and padlock - meaning we were woken frequently in the night.
We booked for 1 night and stayed for 3. Denis was very nice to us and helped us a lot with whatever we needed. The location is great. About 10 minutes walk from the zocalo and 1 minute walk to the Guadalupe. Breakfast is quite simple but is fine. You can choose between cereals, eggs, toasts and fruits. Price is good and you get what you pay for. The hostel works with Otisa tours and helps you get great tours in good prices with pick up from the hostel. We recommend to stay at this hostel and enjoy San Cristobal.
The hostel is the owners' house, which was unpleasant at some times. There isn't a lobby, so you don't really see the other guests other than at breakfast.
The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast was good.
They put me in an unnamed hotel down the street instead of the one I paid for and the building was dingy and dirty and the rooms were extremely tiny. Bathroom was one of the smallest I have ever seen and the shower leaks into the room. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
The choice of breakfast was incredible- eggs, beans and toast :)
the room was nice and warm
the shower was very close to the toilet, meaning everything got wet. I was not allowed to leave my bag after 5pm, meaning i had to PAY to store it somewhere else - very inconvenient.
Great place and great host. Booking ADO buses made really easy by being able to do it at the hostel including printing tickets (most places you have to wait day to get a ticket or go to ADO in person). Really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable owners and excellent breakfast.
The staff has perfected customer service. They are authorised ado bus ticket sellers in addition to arranging tours. At the end of a tour they booked for us we were dropped off at palenque ado bus terminal. Saved us both time and money and in addition the tour was excellent. They even provided packed breakfast! These guys are great.
- Cheap tours - Breakfast - Staff speak English and are extremely helpful.
- Rooms' windows are facing the inside corridor of the building and if you wish to get some air (no fan or air con available) you have to leave your doors and windows open, which leaves you without any privacy. - The computer available to use works slower than Nokia 3310 with iOS on board.
Very cheap and the breakfast was good! Even when we left early for Guatemala, we got some fruits and snacks. Owner was very polite
The beds are really hard and it is pretty noisy because the door is really thin. But it was so cheap that we did not mind.
We spent 2 nights here on our way through to Guatamala. We arrived from a 13 hour overnight bus and we were very happy we could get into our room straight away even though it was hours before checkin time. The staff were super helpful, helping us organise our onward journey to Guatamala (they book tours and buses right at reception) and also gave us a packed breakfast to take with us as we left very early in the morning. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was basic but comfortable with everything we needed. The biggest thing that attracted us with the price, and it is very hard to complain when you're paying this little with breakfast included.
Firstly, like most places with shared bathrooms, your experience will depend on the other guests and how clean they are. All I will say is either shower late at night or first thing in the morning, or wait until just after they've been cleaned. I was last to shower before they were cleaned one morning and it was't pleasant. If I was staying longer, I would consider a private bathroom. Secondly, unfortunately the WIFI was down for most of our stay (about 24 hours). The manager did eventually come over to fix it about 12 hours after we mentioned it. This wasn't too big a deal, WIFI is generally sketchy in this part of the world, but worth mentioning.
Good breakfast, bus ticket can be booked from here.
It´s the first place where they refused that our three children share the same twin bed for the same price. The private bathroom is outside the room.
beds not so comfortable
Good location. Friendly staff
cleanliness, staff service and breakfast included.
can be noisy because of traffic and nearby events.
Good location. Manager was very nice. Breakfast was great (several options to choose from). Tours and bus tickets can be arranged at the hostel.
Nothing. Room was pretty basic, but fine.
Nice breakfast and staff
Wi-Fi didn't work from time to time, but I guess it was only temporary problem.
