Casa Coral is easy to find by car from the main Cancun/Tulum highway. We stayed two nights - one at the beginning and one at the end of a short road trip exploring the peninsula. The first night we had the queen room without the balcony, the second we had the bigger room. We preferred the bigger room because its bathroom was on the same floor, and because the bathroom overall was bigger and better equipped.
Paola and Stefano are very friendly hosts and eager to help their guests have a good time in Mexico. Stefano suggested we visit Ek Balam just north of Valladoli, we did, and enjoyed it more than Chichen Itza.
Their home is adjacent to the B&B so the rentals are completely private. The bedrooms are upstairs, and the downstairs is complete with an open space with kitchen, dining room, and living room. The living room has a futon/couch, so if you had a party of six people you could be comfortable using the whole space - book it all! We were carrying our own coffee, so really enjoyed being able to use the coffee maker and fridge for super early coffee. The breakfast Paola prepared was filling and good: coffee, fresh orange juice, toast & jam, and scrambled eggs with ham, and avocado slices on the side.
The air conditioning worked really well, and was very quiet (and remote controlled). It worked so well we had to turn it down in the middle of the night.
We were able to park our car inside the yard at night, and quite enjoyed how the dogs knew that if you had a key to the gate they did not need to bark.
Very quiet neighbourhood with little grocery stores nearby, as well as a laundry just around the corner if you needed to do a load. Very good value for the price charged.
