location, location, very nice restaurant, food excellent and great music. clean and a/c worked.
bad temperature control on shower
Absolutely beautiful location with a warm and friendly staff. Located just a short walk off the beach, restaurant on site and many others within walking distance, activities just a phone call away, gorgeous pool area, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Staff and service were great. As was the bar and food at restaurant downstairs
Swimming pool/ balcon in the room/ good location and pretty quiet
If we are in Mexico, why are they charging usd?// No wifi during the 3 days we were there (no connexion in the room, the lobby, the swimming pool)// theres a kitchen which is great, but barely anything to cook with, we had to ask for spoons at the restaurant// they charge the parking and theres no other option to park in the street/ the amenities (shampoo; soap...) is called Vert de Terre which in French means swarms (vers de terre), weird translation
We were at Bahia when the hurricane Odile devasted Cabos. The staff continued to work, being gentle, and trying to make us as comfortable as possible doing everything they could. If it was not by them, those would be terrible days - I cannot thank them enough for all the support. I recommend, and if one day I come back to Cabos it will be on Bahia.
I rode out Hurricane Odile at the Bahia, and I can't say enough to praise the staff and management's efforts to keep their guests safe and as comfortable as possible in the days following the storm.
1. Clean room. 2. Easy access to room. 3. Kind and accommodating staff. 4. Quality restaurant.
1. Clam shell theme design on headwall is uncomfortable, not having a bed with headwall, resting head while watching tv or relaxing was not accommodating. 2. Privacy shades provided at sliding door facing the balcony could not be closed to block daylight. 3. Individual hot and cold water shower valve provided in shower room. This system of valves could not control scalding due to irregular temperature of hot water in piping system. 4. Private car parking not available on premises.
The staff, the location and the room were very nice.
When we were booking the room we sent 3 emails asking questions about rental cars, they were unanswered. The shower temperature regulator didn't work well. We should have notified maintenance but we liked the room location and didn't want to move.
The look, design, boutique style; medium size, not too large or too small; very relaxing and quite; delicious food but expensive. Not bad location, 1-block from the beach and a few blocks from downtown.
Terrible wifi, I could not connect in my Air Conditioned room in comfort, always had to go to the lobby, pool, etc. all very hot and humid. Hotel has a black-out and offered no apologies, any beverage, just expected all their guest to go either come out of their room in the storm or stay in the heat of their room without AC.
We are regulars at the Bahia. Deluxe rooms are very romantic, beds are super comfortable. Restaurant Esquina outstanding. Staff amazing.
The pool is nice but nothing like pictures.
The maids and staff who served us when we went for breakfast were very nice. We liked that we had free wi-fi.
We felt a little intimidated by the security guy who got in our faces when we arrived with our luggage and told us to leave it just outside the entrance - I did not like leaving my luggage outside unattended and did not quite understand the reasoning for this. The girl at the desk was not very helpful at all and when we asked if we could book for a ride to the airport upon which she immediately went into a tirade about them needing 48 hours advance notice to arrange it. So we asked what our alternatives were and she didn't offer anything. The security guy suggested a taxi which is normally $80.00. So we went back to the previous resort we had stayed at and our host their arranged shuttle bus transportation for us to the airport for the next morning for $21.00 each. The next morning the security man was a bit rude and pushy asking us what kind of transport we had gotten and from whom. He told us we could cancel and that he could get us a ride for $20.00 each. We said "no" that we were happy with what had been booked for us and were a bit irritated that he was trying to 'cajole' us into a ride through one of his buddies, but for only a dollar less - bit of a joke really! He even yelled something at our driver. All this sort of left us with a bad taste in our mouths. We would NOT stay at this resort again. The room had a strong perfume smell in it, I assume for room freshening purpose, but did the opposite and was a bit irritating as I have allergies to smoke and strong smells. There was no cutlery or pots/pan when we first went to our room - had to ask the maid for some. The fridge was filled up with soft drinks and other stuff we did not need and weren't going to use ... leaving less room for our groceries. The pool was small and there was a sewage smell outside wafting into the pool area.
I liked absolutely nothing about this hotel.
Everything. Rude staff. Horrible room. Charged for a deluxe room and was in a small classic room. Charged an extra $500 on site. I will never stay here or use booking.com again.
Remodeled room overlooking pool was wonderful. Mini kitchen, nice bath, quiet, clean staff, reservation process easy. Close to beach
queen size bed. Would like a king.
The location, the restaurant was excellent, pool and staff there were great. Good energy~
I work while I am on vacation and depend on Skype. Wifi is sketchy and weak and it was very stressful trying to get my work done. I had to move location after 3 days because of it.
Really Really bad living conditions.
the room was noisy, poor lighting, unequipped, uncomfortable. Left early. Not recommend.
Nothing. We moved the next day.
Did not meet our expectations. We were not in an upgraded room. Door to hallway was thin and we heard the partiers all night long.
The check in/ check out staff and the security, valet parking, pool bar staff all very excellent - Thank you !!!
The staff in the restaurant could not find our reservation then the waiter was no great.
Excellent restaurant and bar Good maintenance service and very friendly staff
My room booking (garden room) was not available. However, they did give me a very large room on the top floor and the room charge was much less than my original booking.
I have been staying at the Bahia for years, location is great, staff really helpfull, the Bar Esquina great( bit overpriced). The pool relaxing, though u need right spot for the sun. Great trip.
Not much, Wi Fi a bit spotty only in lobby, not inside rooms. Was in room 506, the bed was a rock, if u have any sort of a bad back u won't make it in this bed. U know the usual shower pressure a little light, but OVERALL it's a solid place to stay in Cabo San Lucas.
This is a great location. The facility needs some upgrading, but we still enjoyed our stay in Cabo. I would recommend this hotel based on price and location.
Our Air Conditioning was very noisy and we had a pipe burst in our bathroom. They did respond quickly to these issues.
Location,Location,Location! Esquina Bar was great for Dinner Staff was awesome
Soft beds and decreased water pressure in shower
Good location and nice value rate by booking.com.
Loved the location and the concierge, Manuel, who was superb!
In room Wi-fi didn't work as advertised
Your welcoming, efficient and honest staff are your greatest assets and were most appreciated by me. Examples are provided below . 1) ANA at the Front desk checked us in when we arrived. She provided excellent assistance, was extremely welcoming, gracious and efficient. 2) I also unknowingly dropped a $100 bill when getting something out of my purse and KARLA, a hostess in the restaurant/bar, saw me drop it and immediately picked it up and returned it to me. 3) Staff also moved our things to another room and inadvertently left behind my nightgown that I had left on the doorknob behind the bathroom door. Again, another honest employee, PRISCILLA, Housekeeping, found it while cleaning the room and put it in the Lost and Found. So, when I reported the loss to Ana at the Front desk, she was able to immediately locate and return my new, expensive nightgown to me. All three of the above-named employees are ideal ambassadors for your resort, and I hope you acknowledge them in some way. As you know in your competitive tourism industry, great customer service may make the difference in whether you see "repeat" business. We've already discussed returning to the Bahia due to the excellent customer in addition to the resort's location, food, live music (especially the band and lead singer that performed on February 1), and the "vibe" given off by a lot of happy, satisfied guests including myself, my adult daughter, and my adult grandson. I have already shared our wonderful stay at Bahia with others we've met in Mexico. We're still in Cabo but are now also enjoying our Pueblo Bonito timeshare. Thanks again, and we'll be back !
