The service was great and felt at home. I had fun.
The food was cafateria grade and the front desk person made continual mistakes on my bill
The location was first class but the most outstanding was the friendliness of the staff . Waiters in the food halls were always there when you needed anything , nothing was too much for them .The drinks waitresses around the pool worked very hard but always with a smile even after hours in that heat , a special mention must go to Juana who looked after me all through my stay . Great hotel. !!!!!
The only thing i didnt like was the breakfast but thats just me, i prefer english but i know you have to cater for all nations so don't take this the wrong way i still got fed and was happy .
Everything was great
Staff were very friendly and professional.
This resort is located next to a boat thoroughfare. There were ferries, ski boats, fishing boats, Sea Doos, and tourist boats coming in and out all day so the beach was not peaceful.
I like the location, the crews of the restaurant was great, foods are great...
Front desk crew need to be more friendly and they need to learn to smiles seems they don't like to help you! Towels never change since we checked in until we checked out, I requested for 2 double bed for my 16 yrs old son and I but unfortunately they gave me a King size bedroom and they ended up putting a small bed beside the king bed, I went downstairs to the front desk and ask what happen to my request of 2 double bed, I called them 3 days before our arrival to confirmed my reservation and request and they confirmed it to me the room is ready for us when we arrive but unfortunately they gave me one bedroom instead, front desk didn't even gave me any word about what happen to my request they told me that they will transfer us to another room the next day but I didn't heard anything from them about the transfer until we departed the facility. Disappointed to this hotel and for sure I wont stay to this hotel nexttime I come to Cancun.
BEACH FRONT, about the only good thing about this resort.
There were no snacks, refreshments or bar food at the bars throught out the day. So you can only imagine by the time lunch and dinner came around, how long the line was already. Food was not great at all. Not much variety. they had no GAUCA OR PICO DE Gallo there. So don't go to mexico expecting to get some if you stay here. The only time you could eat was Breakfast, lunch or dinner. If it was nearing mid to end of the meal time, they won't refill or change out the food. I got yelled at because i wanted to drink my coffee at my pool chair. We made reservations for their Mexican theme resturant and was in there for 3 hours. YES, 3 hours, not because we had such a great time! That's how slow the service was and there were barely any people in the place. We never got our dessert order and was tired of waiting and we left. This resort is VERY far from the main shopping areas and local restuarants. Room is average. We never got our room cleaned during our 4 day stay there unless we asked. We were never instructed that we had to put our room key into a slot in the wall across the bathroom in order to turn on the lights to the room. we had to chase down a cleaning lady to show us. she looked at us as if we were stupid!! They invented light switches for a reason.
The location and restaurant is good.
The sand is not so comfortable.
The location. The Daiquiris and the world's best pool side waitress. Unfortunately I can't remember her name. She was very, very cheerful and kind.
Too busy, too noisy. There is never a quiet moment to reflect or enjoy reading by the beach or pool. Music is always blaring or some kind of entertainment of announcement interrupting the natural quiet that makes being by the sea enjoyable. The mattress was hard and old. The toiletries generic and harsh. The bathroom is so small! Nothing special in the room. Nothing to make a long trip all the way to Mexico worth looking forward to or repeating. Our room connected to the room next door and when the used their hair dryer or sneezed I always thought it was actually occurring in our room. Walls are too thin for any kind of rowdy intimacy. Noisy air conditioner. The lobby was always extremely crowded and noisy. The long weekend in Mexico during my stay, brought many local tourists too. It seems anyone in Mexico can afford this hotel. The hotel is a good place for younger people or families on a budget. I booked based on reviews and pictures but if you can afford a little more class or exclusivity, don't stay here. Not recommended for a SPECIAL stay.
The Location , the beach the swiming pool
I loved the staff! I wanted to stay one night only but that receptionist made stay more because she was nice ,friendly and professional.the place is clean and you have nice view and nice food and leisure. The tour desk man Louis was very pleasant too and advised and good things to do even off the topic.i generally advise whoever wants to chill out and enjoy their time to go there.
The place is a bit far from party spots ,but you can take a taxi or a bus accross the road .it costs nothing. I stayed in cancun centre before and honestly nothing missed .
On one of the days of my stay I forgott my room key. When I requested a new key at Reception I was indeed given a key however there was no security checks to asure I was indeed the occupant of the requested room (ie reconfirmation of name, ID check etc). I am concerned how easy it was to obtain a key to a room that could have been potentialy somebody elses, especialy as I am a single female traveller. I have been working in hotel managment for many years and it is not that difficult to verify a guests identity.
All inclusive plan is convenient. Check-in counter is quick.
Transportation is a bit confused.
The lively atmosphere, the variety of food, nice rooms
The massage, too expensive . All staff were nice, Anne, Caroline who particularly deserve promotions. However, one of the front office managers had a over zealous reaction by willing to charge me for staying one and a half hour after check-out time, when she phoned me at 12.30pm and I said I was packing and would need some more time. All hotels would give late check-out when they are not too busy, which was the case. The staff was very rude and impolite and lied to justify the charges, which is not very honest. I have 2 friends coming to Cancun next week and they have asked my recommendation. I would have automatically recommended the hotel but this staff needs to be reprimanded for her acts.
