Barcelo Costa Cancun - All Inclusive  

The rooms were large and well equipped. There was plenty of space/seats around the pool and beach. The day spa gave us a good deal on massages. The staff in the restaurants were friendly. The staff very kindly organized for a doctor to see my husband when he became sick. Tours we wanted to do we're booked quickly and easily through concierge and at the same price. We didn't attend activities but there always seemed to be a show or imilar happening.

The food variety was limited and the buffet foods were not appealing. The variety would be fine for three days but we stayed four days and were looking outside the hotel for our meals. There was always a wait at the front desk. The location is a While away from the nightclub/ shopping area and we pid $160 pesos each way whenever we went to do anything- you could catch a bus for $8.50 pesos.

The food was good throughout our stay, apart from my friend getting sick for a couple of days from something in the buffet, but overall the food was of high quality, especially Christmas Eve and nye. It was fresh and clean the whole time. Service was slow. The waiting staff are fine when you arrive but if you want anything after they seat yo and offer you your first drink, it's very hard to get their attention.

The reception staff were extremely rude and not amenable to helping us. We had a problem at check in, our room smelt of drains for the whole two weeks we were there but because it was Christmas, it was an outright no to a room change and they just kept spraying air freshener. It is not what I would describe as a 4 * hotel. I have stayed in much nicer which offer better value for money. They charge for internet and there is no free wifi which in 2012/13 I find ridiculous. We tried all the numbers on our phone one evening, including Reception/Consierge/Room Service etc as we had cockroaches in our room and no one answered any of the lines. Our room was also overlooking the main road, next to the 'kids club' (we did not travel with children) despite us requesting a pool facing room when we booked. Very noisy. Not good.

In case you like to be among drunk people and to hear them each night shouting till the morning the hotel is ideal for you! Carful: the so called “private balcony” is 25 - 30 centimeter; if you are lucky you can stand on it; the sea view is from almost all rooms only overlooking the pool area.

è un semplice Resort con I classici confort ma non di alto livello! Se riuscite ad avere una camera vista mare nei piani allora vale la spesa!

Lo staff è impreparato e lento, sopratutto il front Office: siamo arrivati verso le 4:30 al checkin e abbiamo aspettato 30 min che trovassero la prenotazione.. Dopo l'attesa ci danno una camera piano terra vista giardino mentre la prenotazione era per una camera vista mare/laguna, dopo la sollecitazione ci cambiano la camera con una vista mare ma quando entriamo, questa era con due letti singoli mentre la prenotazione era per una king bed size. Ritorniamo giù per spiegazioni e ci ricambiano la camera. Questa volta piu grande e al 3'piano; entriamo e la camera era completamente disfatta e sporchissima ancora dai vecchi ospiti. Ritorniamo al Desk e dopo le scuse ci danno un'altra camera, più grande al 5 piano ma di un'altra palazzina; ormai stanchi ci rechiamo in camera ma anche questa era già occupata da valige di altre persone!!! Ritorniamo di nuovo al check in x l'ennesimo reclamo con l'operatrice (per correttezza non farò il nome) che dopo l'ennesima scusa ci da un'altra camera al 6 piano; fortunatamente questa volta la camera era agibile! Morale; siamo entrati nella nostra bella camera solo dopo 2 ore di sali e scendi tra le palazzine del Resort e ciò è inaccettabile per un 4 stelle! Altra nota negativa ma già eravamo al corrente è il wifi che costa 10euro al giorno! Il cibo niente di che ma giustamente siamo in mexico, ci sono tre rist ma sempre pieni e il buffet e un ring. Parlano di snake bar 24h ma è minuscolo e ha solo hotdog e hamburger! Fortunatamente sono rimasto solo per 3 giorni perché per quanto riguarda la spiaggia e minuscola e il mare non è affatto caraibico come quello di Playa del Carmen dove ho trascorso 15 giorni bellissimi!

Отличный просторный номер, огромнейшая кровать. Йога и пальмы на пляже. Впервые вижу такой разнообразный и гигантский выбор еды в ресторане) Если вы не планируете тихий малолюдный отдых, то отель просто замечательный))

Todo esta cerca, restaurantes, playa alberca.

Que esta cerca de un embarcadero y la playa se ve algo afectada por eso.

El servicio es muy bueno, al igual que la atencion del personal. Los restaurantes son limpios y con buena variedad de comida.

La playa es muy pequeña. el lugar de comidas de 24 hrs no esta muy bien surtido. El acceso a internet es demasiado caro.

Relação custo benefício para quem quer um All Inclusive mais em conta, porém que atende bem as necessidades.

Se alguem quiser tranquilidade e sossego, jamais fique nos quartos perto da recepção ou da área 24 horas, onde tem computadores de internet e sala de jogos. A turma que chega da balada faz barulho durante toda a madrugada. é impossivel de dormir.

La chambre plutôt correct ben que mal insonorisé

A peu prêt tout, Plage minuscule et a coté d'un départ de bateaux, des concerts tout les soir jusqu'a 23h, des jeunes qui crient au bord de la piscine, le personnel pas agréable et contrairement aux descriptif de l'hôtel la wifi était payante... un vrai bonheur cet hôtel

O hotel era bastante limpo e disponibilizava boas oportunidades de lazer.

Os garçons são muito amadores. Necessitam de melhor treinamento sobre o trabalho que desenvolvem e a maneira de tratar os clientes. Achei que o hotel foca mais em programas familiares. Senti falta de uma festa no hotel, voltada para o público solteiro, com música e drinks.

Espacios reducidos, playa pequeña sin grandes espacios. La piscina algo parecido, poco espacio para mucha gente

Bons resturantes a la carte, boa praia e áreas comuns, hotel limpo.

O restaurante buffet não é tão bom como os demais.Cobram adicional para lagosta e vinho. Pouca disponibilidade de reserva para os restaurantes a la carte.
