    The garden was amazing.

The bathrooms/showers in the room. We had the third floor and it was very small overall. Felt like it needed more space and the bathroom and shower had no privacy.

We were met with about 100 very noisey children and equally noisey leaders on our first 4 days at the hotel. Management should of taken their stay into consideration when booking other guests. Although several of us complained about the noise, little was done.

When we arrived, so did about 100 noisey children and their equally noisey leaders. Although several of the guests complained, little was done about their behaviour. We had to pay for our rooms in advance...perhaps so we wouldn't up and leave. The staff made an effort to make our stay pleasant but I think the management and owners should be responsible for the conduct of their guests. When the children left for the weekend, the young adults arrived and they also have no consideration for the other guests in the hotel regarding noise. Perhaps the most important thing to remember about this hotel is that it is a Mexican hotel and does not reach the 4 star designation that the rest of America would expect. Our toilet wouldn't flush, there was a lack of hot water, there was a power outage that lasted for about 2 hours and we had trouble sleeping because of the noisey Mexican guests.

The staff were great, the old Building is beautiful, mattresses were fine. Location was good.

Bathroom was ugly, one small mirror, one light bulb, the faucets leaked, toilet had a top on the reservoir that did not fit and had to be moved to flush. The room was cold, no heater was supplied or available. No ventilation, our clothing would not dry, after showers, the walls dripped. Slatted door on toilet/ shower, no privacy at all. Needs a great deal of upgrades in the rooms. Continental breakfast was minimal.
