Blue Chairs Resort by the Sea    

The location can't be beat! It is in the heart of the gay zone and close to everything. They have a great beach with full food and beverage services and a roof top bar that offers great views, music and shows (drag and go-go boys). The staff is why I really go back. They are outstanding! Most have been there many years and they remember you and make you feel like you are in their home. They constantly check on you, chat with you and really get to know you. In particular, Francisco and Kenny on the beach, Pedro on the rooftop and the manager Andres are amazing!

The hotel rooms are ok. They are very clean and comfortable but pretty basic. If you are looking for 5 star you will be disappointed. If you want a great location that is clan and comfy you'll like it.

Erika is a world class concierge. Fun, comfortable, happy place. Our third stay, and we will be back. Outstanding value.

Nothing

The view of the Pacific from the junior suite was terrific. From the bar on the sixth floor they were even better. the food at the seaside restaurant was good, and breakfasts were very reasonably priced.

The "continental" breakfast was really minimal: coffee, toast, juice. It rather forced you to buy a breakfast.

Can not beat the location. Very friendly staff. Extremely gay friendly. Staff willing to go the extra mile. Room was basic but clean all the time. Massage service was great and professional!

Perhaps not as fancy as many hotels I stay but the location can't be beat. I couldn't find an ice machine. A refrigerator in the room would be convenient.

The staff at Blue Chairs was incredibly accommodating and responsive. They remembered our names, made sure we were comfortable, and gave us good recommendations about tours and restaurants and bars.

A new part of the hotel is under construction so we endured pounding and having to dodge equipment and workers. We also lost water pressure on our last night there (likely because of the construction) so our shower was a trickle and we were unable to flush our toilet.

Private beach, friendly staff, great location, fun hotel bar with a variety of entertainment, amazing views from the impressively large roof

A lot of construction, much of the hotel was being expanded/remodeled. We loved it there but left scratching our heads wondering what exactly we got for the price. Clearly we were paying for their improvements. We'll have to come back when the work is complete.

Upon check-in, the clerk attempted to scam me on the exchange rate for me stay. It was NOT a mistake, but a deliberate attempt to increase the cost of my stay by over $200.

Ubicación

Muy pequeño y muy costoso para lo que es. La alberca de la terraza es muy pequeña y están construyendo justo al lado.

1- Las habitaciones sucias, los colchones rotos, el refrigerador maltratado, una suciedad completa en toda la habitacion, toallas rotas, ademas hay obras en el edificio de al lado, con lo que a las 8.00 de la mañana ya no puedes descansar en la habitacion, la comida nada variada, los meseros solo estan por el interes de las propinas, y poco atentos, realmente un fracaso de hotel, y de estancia.
