I liked everything from the architecture, to one of Mexico's prettiest patios, to the comfortable room, to the ample breakfast, to the super-friendly, helpful staff. The city of Tlaxcala is a peaceful, lovely place free of tourist hordes.

Location,quiet,pleasant garden,helpful staff,price.

Decor The room could do with a heater at this time of year.

The location was great, just 2 blocks from city centre. The price-service- quality are quite ok. The staff is friendly. It's located in a safety zone, next to the Police Quarters. Great hotel! I recommend it, thank you people from Hotel Boutique Posada la Casona de Cortés!

The shower in the morning was not the best, the water pression was reduced when the warm water started to flow.

Nice hotel in a great small Mexican city located only 2 blocks from the zocalo.

Either booking.com or the hotel totally messed up our reservation and put is in the worst room in the hotel. Be sure when booking with booking.com that you confirm with the hotel that you got the room that you paid for.

This is definitely a "must" to stay in when visiting the area. Very, very colorful hotel with endless charm. We had room #1 with a balcony overlooking a quiet street which I think is the best room in the hotel. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was good although separate. Hotel is situated for an easy stroll into the zoloca and other points of interest.

Close enough to the plaza to be near everything. Far enough from the plaza to avoid the traffic and the noise. The staff and the OWNERS were so friendly and helpful. They were a family and after two days they made my wife and I feel as though we were members of the family. The hotel was clean, quite and comfortable. But, most of all the staff was professional but personable. Parking near by.

It would be difficult to find a flaw. We were there for 7 nights - 8 days.. we encountered no problems.

Te location was excellent, the staff friendly, the rooms clean. It was close enough to walk to the city center any time day or night, but far enough to be quieter than the plaza. The hotel was simple, and nice.

Phone in the room would have been convenient, but staff was good about running up to get me if there was a call. Towels could be more generous and softer. Wash cloths would be nice to have.

Excelente ubicación, el trato muy cordial y agradable.

El horario del restaurante es muy limitado, deberían rediseñar los jardines e instalar rampas de acceso y un elevador para personas con capacidades diferentes, había pocos huespedes, en general deberían mejorar todas sus instalaciones, aunque los baños están muy limpios, los acabados son muy feos, lo noté un poco desangelado. deberían de sacarle más "jugo" al hotel. Soy arquitecto y me fijo mucho en los detalles.

La ubicación cerca del centro.

Contraté el hotel con una tarifa de 50 dólares cuando llegé allí me querían cobrar cerca de 10 dólares mas diciendo que esa no era la tarifa y que había un error con booking y que si no sabían que había pasado. Al final me cobraron la tarifa de 50 dólares pero solo por mi insistencia y al cabo de un día y tras pasar por la penosa situación de estar regateando la cantidad y que en pocas palabras te trataran de miserable. La habitación era muy pequeña y el agua caliente directamente no funcionaba. El jabón y el champú de malísima calidad te estropean el pelo y la piel. El suelo resbaladizo, caí un fuerte golpe al salir de la frustrada ducha. El hotel se califica y cobra como de 4 estrellas pero no pasaría de pensión decente u hotel de 1 estrella malo.

Es un lugar céntrico pero de fácil acceso ,esto no impide el buen descanso,a todo lo anterior podemos agregar el trato hospitalario de sus empleados y sobre todo del du. eno.si quieres conocer Tlaxcala este hotel queda de maravilla,nosotros regresaremos sin mucho

antencion y servicio y limpieza fue excelente.Lo unico que no nos gusto ,fue que o tenian restaurante.

Todo regresaría sin dudarlo!!

Bueno solo que estaba en remodelacion el restauran y el bar en general todo me agrado

The restaurant was closed after 15h00 - No possibility to have dinner in the hotel.

La ubicacion

No tienen calefaccion y las habitaciones son frias. Las fotos que muestran son mucho mejores que la realidad. El baño es viejo y nada acorde con un hotel que dice que tiene encanto.

El servicio y atención de la chica del restaurante

En efecto, tuve una mala primera impresión pues habíamos echo una reserva en booking y habiamos elegido por el precio, sin embargo al llegar al hotel, descubrimos que no nos respetaron el precio y que debíamos pagar 1500 pesos más de lo que habíamos presupuestado al hacer la reserva, ante nuestra negativa y la imposibilidad de irnos pues era de noche, acordaron que pagaramos la mitad de lo que nos querían cobrar de más. Esto nos disgustó sobre manera, pues no es la primera vez que reservo con booking, y dijo el chico de la receción el problema era la pagina que no actualizaba precios.

El personal es sumamente amable, y el hotel está limpio.

La cama está muy dura; amanecímos con dolor de espalda.
