Location location location
The staff at the beach, Carlos and Sergio, Rolfie and Leonardo, always smiling with a warm greeting ...the desk was also warm and helpful. The location can't be beat
the chairs are removed at five o'clock from the beach..just about when the sun is most pleasant...restaurant closes too early.
the location...on the beach....and the room was spare, comfortable, with good pillows and duvet...plenty of towels..safe for stuff and frig in the room to keep the drinks cold...not far from restaurants....the young staff are very pleasant and helpful
not fancy, so don't expect the five star treatment even though you're on the beach...the bar drinks were well price (but I believe the booze is watered)...they whisk the beach chairs away at 5p just when the sun is getting tolerable, and the restauant closes early, too..around 5:30
The location was pretty much the only good thing about this property it is right on the beach
The room was dirty-the curtains had stains -I had to get a replacement pillowcase as the one provided had dried blood on it-cracked tiles-missing caulk letting in Mosquitos-stained and moldy ceiling-I could go on but space is limited --will not be returning here
The hotel was. Located on the beach, rooms were surrounded with beautiful vegetation, was quite, was reasonably priced
Pool wAs only 4 foot deep Water was always hot Continental breakfast offered with room consisted of two peices of toast and one cup of coffee, not real filling
I liked that the air conditioning worked well. The room was very well cleaned even though there were ants in the room. I liked that it was right next to the beach.
The staff kept me waiting a long time before checking in and the lobby was oppressively hot. The "internet" was in the restaurant by the beach and did not work well.
Booked on Booking.com with AMEX. Arrived at hotel and was told they do not accept AMEX. Paid with Visa, but it was about $100 more expensive. Not cool.
Location and beach. Room in upper levels best
No wifi in rooms. Breakfast is not real food. Pls change and you will receive more clients
Great Location, breakfast included in the beach palapa next door.
Hotel needs some renovations, it is in the best location but looks old and tired. If you only care about the location and a spot to sleep, this is the best place.
The gardens were very beautiful .
The bathroom was small .
Hotel on the beach Nice environment The reading corner was awesome Lots of books of different languages were there to read
Wifi only in a restaurant outside the hotel
Location was PERFECT! Room was small, beds were uncomfortable, staff was moderately friendly and helpful. Price of facilities were very affordable.
I was accosted one morning by chambermaid(?) over a few hundred pesos I had left on the night table. Even after telling her I didn't speak Spanish, she persisted in asking me if the money was "propina". No Beuno!!
Location was superior, right on beach with great view. Beds comfortable, not plush but adequate. Maid service was great each day, thorough and room was clean. Place is not extravagant but very good value for the cost. Beach was phenomenal! Hard to beat.
The hotel grounds were dirty, with a lot of trash strewn about. Place could benefit from a grounds keeper that does more than spray plants with water each day. Check in was delayed and they kept saying 20 more minutes but was due to the place being packed full the night before. Hard to call toast and coffee even a continental breakfast but there are great places nearby, guess you get what you pay for and we didn't stay there for the meal. Golf carts were a blast.
Fantastic location on the North Beach of the island. Close to all restaurants in the town. We stayed in a cabana unit that was large with an outdoor sitting area that we shared with our friends in the late evening. Very friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk. When we go back to Isla that is where we will definitely stay again.
Having to leave and go back to our condo in Cancun !
Ocean view from the balcony, balcony itself, atmosphere in general, location and openness to the city and the Island around.
Service in Hotel's Restaurant - lack of waitresses communication at the Restaurant
Strategic location a few meters from the best beach in the island/
Old building and facilities.
Awesome location, clean room, friendly staff.
Very basic, no amenities, but you get what you pay for!
Good size rooms and good location. Free drinking water.
Very noisy Airconditioning and ceiling fan. It was hard to sleep with either of them on. Hot water took ages to come through. Renovation work started early in the morning. No bar.
everything from the staff, room and facillities
location on the beach
no wifi in the hotel room
Right by the beach and a quiet location.
Bed, room, TV were all a bit depressing. We didn't get a room with windows. Breakfast was minimal - toast and coffee.
Charming place with a pleasant and calm inner garden. Very well located, closed to one of the most beautiful beach of the island with a nice restaurant.
We had to wait 1,5 hour on check in to get our bedroom ready. The antique bathroom, the air contionning system as noisy as a truck and the so-called breakfast included in the room rate: very little to eat.
The hotel is on the north beach which is the nicest beach on Isla Mujeres
Staff barely spoke any english, communication was hampered. The hotel is one of the oldest properties on the island, ungrades have not been done, there are cockroaches everywhere in rooms, the tile walks are treacherous after a rain to the point of almost being unable to walk, no railings on stairs, or walkways, beds are old, linens old, and the room was very dirty ... filth behind bathroom door, mold on bottom of shower tiles, dirt and hair against walls, ceiling fan had dust/dirt coating the whole affair and turning it on risked having it all fly off on the beds... the exterior doors could easily be popped open should someone want entry to a room without a key... doors were flimsy and locks old and inadequate... we are picky but rooms should be clean and facilities safe...there are much nicer places to stay on Isla... don't go here.
