No electric to my room for 3 hours. The woman at the desk could not find my reservation and needed help even when I showed .n my I phone. This process took all most 20 minuets to resolve. Don't understand why they could not give my room while they took care of it

The bed was great, the room beautiful, food in the restaurant and the gym was first class.staff in the restaurant and gym were excellent.

The front check in person, Sharon, was unfriendly to the point of rudeness. They did not have my booking upon arrival and she said that I needed it to check in. When I suggested she find it, she told me I had to go to the business office to talk to them and get it printed off my IPad. I said that I felt it would be better if she tracked it down as it clearly showed on my IPad that I had saved that a booking through booking.com was made. Very unusual attitude in Mexico for people not to help you, especially at a hotel of this caliber. In the end she did get confirmation by going to the business centre herself.

Reservation systens could not fin the booking.com reservation. It took 30 min to check in

not enough staff at reception on checkout when one of the main reasons is the proximity to airport, speedy checkout should be a priority.

Room reasonable, carpets in corridors badly worn, little tatty, time taken to check in is a terrible long wait, very poor.

The price I was given by Booking.com bore no relation to the actual price I was charged. Beware, it is hard to convert as there are so many pesos to dollars or pounds sterling. I estimate I was overcharged at least 20% even counting the additional taxes but found out too late as I had left the country!!

Room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Right in the airport very convenient.

Check in was painfully slow, not good after a day of travelling. carpets in the corridors are very old and worn and detract from the overall impression of what is really a very reasonable hotel.

Horrible place to stay!!! From all of the hotels I visited during last year ( not only 5 stars but even 3-2 stars worst!!!!!) and very poor quality for the money!! It's surprising because located almost -at-the- airport should be convenient for people who are tired after long flights. But not Camino Real!!! 1. our flight from Guadalajara was deleyed about 3 hours so we came very late like 1-2 o'clock in the middle of the night( they had tjis info in my e-mail, together with notification that we will be very tired and we need comfortable room and silent one.we had reservation for deluxe room but got unrefurbished one with no chance to change because of the guy in the reception ( said it was the only one but when I asked another one receptionist in the mornig- they had normal rooms 2. when we came there finally a RUDE man in the reception gave us the worse possible room in non-renovated part ( up to 4th floor even corridors carpets consist of many destroyed parts,stained, dated,walls sometimes do not have paint- room was similar. 2 it had windows on the external fans of aircondition( for the whole hotel) - so it was very noisy during the night and I wasn't able to sleep-(facing construction works). Important!- sometimes I do sleep even in hostels( never beeing so angry with conditions- and mostly giving rates of 8.5-10 on booking) so beleve me-it was really hard night. 3. all the furniture was old, there was a smell in the room( should be for nonsmokers), and finally this RUDE gay in the reception!!. Never again - especially for money they forced us to pay for this night. WIFI costs additional money If You have to stay here- take the 5th floor with redecorated rooms or take MARRIOTT.

Room was small. The internet was charged separately and was very expensive.

Friendly and honest staff. I forgot something in the lobby and did not realize it until the following day. They had kept it secure and when I inquired about it they asked some questions to verify it was actually mine and returned it immediately.

Staff were helpful and multi-lingual. Lobby is beautiful. Rooms are decorated very attractively in a way that is calm and relaxing for the traveller. Top marks for the decor of the rooms.

The restaurant was lovely, staff were very gracious and courteous, and the food was excellent. However, the prices were very high even for the airport.

Convenience for travellers

I liked the convenience of the location for making travel connections. I also like your lounge and restaurants. Your beds are very comfortable, and your staff is always very attentive and courteous. Check-in is easy and fast.

A few times we had difficulty finding our room number as our room was in the south wing and we did not realize there was a different elevator.

Proximity to airport (pedestrian bridge). Restaurant (mexican). The food was great (the best I had all trip) and the server was knowledgable and accomodating to my vegan diet.

It would not have been convenient for me to stay there all trip (far from downtown). Cost.

Almost nothing

Camino Real was shoddy, tacky and the drinks were mostly water. We wanted to pay in cash at check out but there was only one clerk on duty and a waiting- line an hour-long. We had to catch a plane. The Marriott Courtyard is a lot nicer hotel.

I agree with other comments that the hotel looks a bit old already, but nevertheless service and cleanless are excellent, it's a top hotel and it's directly connected to the airport. Highly recommendable, if that's what you need (plus the centre is only 30 min away by metro).

It should offer free WiFi...
