Nothing, even for free I won't come back here. The Camino Real in Polanco is much better!
Cold water in the shower, safe unusable as build behind a door and unable to open. TV looks like signal from the 50's, bed so soft that my back still hurts... The only stars this place earns are the stars in their Xmas tree. Complained about water and save to staff but no solution offered. Clearly, when using booking they give you the worst rooms.. Also hinted by staff that that's happening...
Very close to the airport
We had to wait in a 1h line to get our room, internet was not free (very expensive actually)
Really comfortable hotel with a truly fantastic breakfast.
Reception could have been a bit more efficient - the lines to check in sometimes got long, which is the last think you want after a long journey.
The location ando good service
The ilumination in the room is not enough.
I liked the way that some staff behaved, they were polite and looked like they were really interested in taking care of the clients.
I did not like the fact that they do not have some small items that as a traveler I required ( i.e. I could not get an adaptor to plug the power cord of my laptop/cellphone) and I needed to bought them myself.
It is beside the airport. The decoration
They charge internet, for the price of the room it is unfair. You can hear the voices of people coming in the halls. You should put another kind of doors to avoid noises inside the rooms.
That it is right next to the airport, so we just had to walk over the bridge when leaving.
It is very over priced for what you get. The room is tiny and stuffy. Maybe big enough for 1 person, not for 2.
If you get a good deal for the room it's location next to the airport is convenient, otherwise I think is too expensive
It is ridiculous to pay for wifi! Other hotels close offer free wifi.
The place location is great if you need to get to the airport early.
We met a prostitute with her client at the elevator! We are in the elevator with the client, the prostitute and a bell boy. The bell boy asks her if she is going to the fifth floor as usual, she answers yes. The client then adds he would juat "bang her" fast and he comes back to the bar. She was dressed in a red small spandex dress with ca. 12 cm hills and lots of make up. He seemed bit drunk and ugly. We immediately knew what was going on there! This is supposed to be a good hotel, give me a break! Apart from that the room was small, stinky and with inside patio view which is nothing more than the patio where all air conditioners are placed. The carpet was sticky, the bed super soft, one of the 2 light bulbs in the room was broken, no windows or ventilation in the bad. And the internet costs ca 15 usd per day! Never again this place!
A/c thermostat. Did not work
The hotel is situated very closely to the airport which is great. Friendly and helpful bar staff.
Slow check-in. We had to wait in a queue about 20 minutes to be able to check-in. This hotel gives itself 5 stars where we would give it 3 to 4.
Perfect for a stop over or eaŕy flight as it is super easy to go to airport, terminal 1.everything was very comfortable.
It is ridiculous that in a hotel of that price one jas to pay wifi extra, and expensif!!tried it for1hr it did work corectly
i made a reservation for 120 euros when i arrived they charged 192 euros to my card. the bathroom was old, bathtub didnt work, the room was not nice.
Only the location, and that's all.
Impersonal. Noisy. They do not charge you in dollars but in Mexican pesos with an exchange rate they decide in detriment of the host. WIFI not available unless you pay for it. The safe case does not work. The taxis provided by them are 3-4 times more expensive than a regular cab and they are terrible, old cars without maintenance. In summary: they make sure to get advantage of you -in your short stay- and take as much dollars as they can. Go to another place, never ever stay here.
Room, bed, service
Location although the location of the foot bridge needs researching Large room
I could not find the Shuttle bus to Terminal 2 so ended up getting a taxi
Very poor TV program selection; very few movies available; old TV sets
The room was very protected from other hotel sounds. Room was comfortable and the bath and hot water appreciated.
Very noisy air conditioning unit. Room on 1st floor, overlooking construction zone, even after booking 6 weeks in advance. 45 minute wait to check in on first stay (at midnight!) Price charged very much more than Booking.com rate!!
We had to wait more than 1 hour to check in. During the total evening there was a line of around 50 people waiting to check in. The check in procedure was very slow and the staff was very rude and unfriendly. According to the staff a waiting time of more than 1 hour is normal for this hotel. The rooms are old and noisy. Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel and this price.
Service are really bad and the room wAs to small not the one I rented pictures looks very different
the location, right at the airport
what a let-down: Camino-Real used to be one of the most vividly Mexican Super-Hotelsnot only colourful but truly plush and top of the bill. The sensation og this hotel is that you can still see the glamour of those days, but that the management is apparently depressed or profoundly desillusioned: even the lobby is under-maintained with once majestic chairs now with visible defects, sixties carpets, underlighted, slow staff; the room was small, undermaintained, a mxiture of funiture, several lamps not working and others half repaired. The adjustment of the airco didn't work, apart from switching it off... Don't go there unless you really must or are able th adjust your expectations from 6 star to two star.
I used to stay in this hotel with my parents when I was a child. It hasnt changed. When arriving by taxi there was no one to help with luggage. There is always a huge line to check in. Getting to your room has always been a guessing game due to poor signage. When entering the room, the AC was on, and had been on apparently all day. I was freezing. The room was dirty. Food prices are crazy expensive and the food is not even good. The hotel is in a desperate need of a good management and remodelling. Would avoid staying there.
