We had to wait more than 1 hour to check in. During the total evening there was a line of around 50 people waiting to check in. The check in procedure was very slow and the staff was very rude and unfriendly. According to the staff a waiting time of more than 1 hour is normal for this hotel. The rooms are old and noisy. Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel and this price.
Service are really bad and the room wAs to small not the one I rented pictures looks very different
the location, right at the airport
what a let-down: Camino-Real used to be one of the most vividly Mexican Super-Hotelsnot only colourful but truly plush and top of the bill. The sensation og this hotel is that you can still see the glamour of those days, but that the management is apparently depressed or profoundly desillusioned: even the lobby is under-maintained with once majestic chairs now with visible defects, sixties carpets, underlighted, slow staff; the room was small, undermaintained, a mxiture of funiture, several lamps not working and others half repaired. The adjustment of the airco didn't work, apart from switching it off... Don't go there unless you really must or are able th adjust your expectations from 6 star to two star.
I used to stay in this hotel with my parents when I was a child. It hasnt changed. When arriving by taxi there was no one to help with luggage. There is always a huge line to check in. Getting to your room has always been a guessing game due to poor signage. When entering the room, the AC was on, and had been on apparently all day. I was freezing. The room was dirty. Food prices are crazy expensive and the food is not even good. The hotel is in a desperate need of a good management and remodelling. Would avoid staying there.
lack of excellence in the staff service, but this is more or less the same around all the country. For international travelers, sometimes is too much (not respecting our timing) and then when we need a quick answer to our requests they can't do it as they were trained to spend too much time in the formal way. it's a ritual. At the end, we foreigners, shall adapt ourselves to their style.
steam room after long flight
paying for wifi
I had overcharges on my credit card. It took me several emails to get them back.
There was a 45 minute line up to check in which at midnight was most unfortunate.
We stayed here only one night. The hotel location near the airport. Very nice modern and clear room.
Location. Shuttle. Waiter at an otherwise mediocre dinner
When you arrive after a 12 hr flight, the last thing you want or expect is a check-in queue. And one of the few hotels to charge for wifi. And when you pay for the wifi, for the business centre's advice on how to get it going to be clear. Room decor tired
comfortable bed and very good breakfast buffet
found one cockroach in my room, shower temperature was not adjustable (not too warm water), no drinking water awailable in room, no hairdryer, no free internet for customers, quite noisy,
Location right next to terminal 1
Wifi did not work
It was super convenient to walk across a skywalk to the lobby from Terminal 1. The shuttle to Terminal 2 was perfect.
Aging facility, Line for check in, wanted to overcharge me, no signs to gym/pool, room door slams shut, no breakfast, no bottled water, NO FREE WIFI!
When I booked this room I was guarantied a runway view. The Junior suite they gave me was not a runway view. I got a room on the 6th Floor with a runway view.I was charged the original rate for a Junior suite and didn't get one. Please can you look into getting me a refund for the inferior room. Thank You
You can walk to the airport
First they gave me a room that was next to an AC or something similar, the noise was overwhelming. Then they changed me to a room next to the elevator - the noise from the elevator was also pretty bad. Finally, after an hour an on the third try, I was able to get a quite room. I was very disappointed since this hotel chain is not cheap and used to have great service.
Expensive wifi - it is ridiculous hotels still charging for wifi these days King size bed?! - not at all, they give you a queen size at best
Its immediate access from the airport. Breakfast is not top quality but has a decent choice.
The rooms are extremely small, outdated, with old fittings, fraying linen and towels; it was extremely dirty and smelled of damp and smoke (despite having been assigned a non-smoking room). The swim pool area had severe leakage and the marble floors were wet. My 6 yo son, who was walking in front of me slipped in one of the poodles and had a got a deep gash in his knee. When I complained I about the dangers of the leakage, I was told that 'my son had an accident due to my poor parental skills'. I left an open voucher at the front desk and, yet, when I ordered a glass of milk for my son to be taken to my room they informed me that I had to go down to pay for the milk in advance. The public at the hotel is a frankly scary crowd. Felt extremely uncomfortable to spend the night there with three small children. The price (189 Euro) was extremely expensive for the quality of the rooms and services offered and compared to other otherls (W, Le Meridien, Las Brisas) where we stayed in our trip in Mexico. I would avoid, at any cost, to stay away from Camino Real Aereopuerto and advice others to do the same!
They charge to the credit card who I left for waranty and made another charge to the credit card I use to pay....
One hour lane to check in, The rate is too high and no wifi included nor breakfast.
Near the airport
Location. Ease of access. Friendly staff. Comfort of room. Cleanliness
Location was fantastic!
In comparison to other airport hotels, this was more noisy, the bed was too soft.
The Mexican restaurant was far too expensive and the food far too mediocre. The decor and condition of the restaurant is outdated and bad. We wondered why it was so empty when we were seated. A bad choice.
