Score from 245 reviews Very good
In Cancun's hotel zone, next to one of the city's most beautiful beaches, this property offers enjoyable facilities and luxurious spa services with great views of Nichupte Lagoon.
Score from 174 reviews Very good
This 5-star Cancun luxury hotel is on a secluded beach and features a 40,000-square-foot full-service spa. The El Meco Mayan Ruins is 7 miles from the hotel.
Score from 543 reviews Wonderful
Overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Nichupte Lagoon, only steps from the beach, the Krystal Grand Punta Cancún has a bi-level outdoor pool, private white sandy beach and full-service spa.
Score from 578 reviews Good
the staff is very friendly, the food is very tasty and very is a lot of variety, you also get 24h room service so if you get hungry in the middle of the night you have the peace of mind that there will always be food for you in this hotel :) i loved the beach, not many people you can really relax
i would prefer the grass on the beach to be cleaned every day as it doesn't look very good with it
Food was pretty good. Pool bar.
Music was everywhere, terrible. Spam for timeshare meeting and CoCoBongo was constant (barf). Just awkwardness on arrival in general -- no map, told we have to make dinner reservations by 2pm that day even though check in as at 3pm. I guess the resort thing just isn't for us -- too many old people, boring cheesy atmosphere, etc. We should have just gotten a normal hotel.
The living quarters were awesome! Beds were great..didn't want to get out of it in the morning..
No bad experience.. I think the food could use some improvement.
We were upgraded to a sea front villa which was spacious and had a private plunge pool. The buffet was varied and the specialist restaurants served excellent food. Jorge, the beach butler, was very friendly and helpful and provided excellent service.
Great beach in front blue water
Hard push to upsell once you get there.
Staff Room Food Servuce
The food: ala carte restaurants were fabulous! The pools and beach are top notch! the bartenders; and beach barmaids were excellent, coming around every 15 minutes to see if you needed anything.
Our problem was with Booking.com. It was embarrassing as I tried to reserve on line, and clarify that the all-inclusive rate for 2 people was what was advertised. When we got to the hotel, that was NOT the case!!!! We had to pay double, another $1800!! It literally put a HUGE damper on our vacation. Probably will not be using booking.com again.
The plumbing is horrible, the toilet overflows, there was a constant smell of pesticide in the room since they were fumigating. There were constantly people hounding you to look at timeshares. It was not relaxing because they were like vultures, was constantly on edge. Was not happy with the service.
Beach is fabulous, food is excellent and varied, but the service by all staff is just wonderful. It's a beautiful setting to be pampered and truly relax.
We had to spend our first night in a different hotel because they over booked! Very poor experience. They did give us an upgraded room to compensate for the inconvenience, but it was very annoying.
Hotel service was excellent Food was better than most inclusive resorts Grounds are beautiful
Pools were not heated
I liked the location - walking distance to Senor Frogs and Hard Rock as well as other activities. The villa we stayed in was beautiful. The Skyrider parasail was nearby as well as SeaDoo rental.
I did not car for the food in the casual buffet restaurant. Only the Mexican food night and breakfast was up to par for us. We were unable to get a king size bed and had double beds - not enough room for 2 adults but we were upgraded to the villa and that was fun. No ocean view in the Freida villa but was very close to beach and restaurants. Would have liked a full length mirror in room and the magnifying makeup mirror was attached to wall and was higher than i was tall (lol).
Well maintained resort with good amenities. Solid staff and good food.
This was my first time at an all-inclusive and I learned that you still have to tip if you want good service.
Staff was very accommodating and friendly, our room was very nice, and the amenities were good.
It was hard to get a reservation in the nicer restaurants but the buffet restaurant was good.
Italian restaurant superb. Staff friendly. Clean.
Check in didn't make you feel at all special. Poor wifi but ok for emails. No place to shower or change after check out.
The location is great, the beach is so beautiful! the pools are awesome, theres one bar inside a pool. the room was very clean and big with fantastic view! great shower. The entertainment team -Leonardo, Nayeli, Jooaquin, Kenia, Jaime and Dario - was fun and enjoyable, we liked participating in the activities, we didnt rest at all ;) We adore the pizza guy in Pizza Corner who makes the best pizza! There are burgers as well that were just in time. You cannot stay hungry in this place, there are so much things to eat :). The staff was nice and friendly.
Wi-Fi a bit slow..
- the staff is very very friendly - the food at the 3 restaurants is really good, the buffet-restaurant was ok - the oceanview from the 5th floor is amazing - the small pool with poolbar and sunbeds is the perfect place to relax if you don't like the animation at the mainpool - the beach is fabulous - 24 hours room-service
- animation at the main pool - not enough sunbeds at the pool and especially at the beach!
great staff and delicious food! I love the activities and the food in Italian resteraunt really tastes good.
I want a more reliable WiFi connection.
I really don't get why on reviews about this place people complain a lot about the staff. I've had a great time during my stay at Grand Park and all of the servers were absolutely great with us.
Wifi is kinda slow. But it's good all the hotel is covered. You can still use it at the beach, by the sea.
Hotel is really nice, food was great, pools too, and staff is very professional. If I will ever go back to Cancun I will choose this hotel. Beach is beautiful!!!!
In room is a little bit to noisy.
Nice facilities, clean, friendly staff outside of the Front Desk and Concierge, decent pools and beach, nice rooms with or without upgrades.
Terrible Front Office staff with terrible service even after I paid for an upgrade. Terrible sales pitch to get everyone to pay for a time share--tacky and shameless. Owners try to nickel and dime you at an all-inclusive resort with a $10/day charge to use the gym. What's the point?! And the gym is nothing special.
Location. Beach. Pools. Views. Parking. Food, especially Italian. Drinks (except wine). Friendly people. Good maid service.
Phones were broken. Couldn't book evening restaurants after 2pm and check in is 3pm. Towels service and hours seem unpredictable. Staff at reception were rude and didn't seem to care e.g. about towels, phones ... And made up excuses. House wine bad. Jacuzzi cold.
The staff and food was very good
The bed was hard and not comfortable at all
The food is for those who are outgoing. Do not come here if you are picky! Even with the resort being sold out it was not crowded. The Italian reasturant is amazing. Stayed in the royal tower suites which has the best location in the entire resort, located on the beach inbetween both pools and both reasturants. Wifi is free in the lobby, buffet and by the pools. It is also free to royal tower guests. The exchange rate at the hotel is the best one in Cancun currently at 13.5 pesos per American dollar. The hotel matched and lowered all excursion prices we found online which was appreciated.
This is not a resort for kids which is fine by me. The resort should not allow kids at all. The oriental reasturant was a thumbs down, we went to the buffet afterwords. Room service is fast but food is below average.
Food was really good. Room was clean. Nice pools.
Staff was not as attentive, nice or smiley as the other one i visited
