The atmosphere is casual at Ray's Palapa Restaurant, a laid back and social gathering spot for our guests. The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, serving a la carte breakfast, lunch, dinner and a variety of snacks and beverages. On one side is a swim-up bar.
This four-story resort offers 72 air-conditioned guestrooms overlooking Cancún Island and Nichupté Lagoon. Room decor is a mix of colorful tropical fabrics and traditional Mexican furnishings, with tiled floors and ceiling fans. Though the rooms do not have balconies or patios, wood shutters—louvered for privacy and air circulation—can be opened for views of the tropical grounds. A complimentary liter of bottled water is delivered to rooms daily.
The Clipper Club has no beach; however, all beaches in Mexico are public so guests need only hop on a public bus to reach all of Cancún Island's 14 miles of white sand. Some beaches are within 5-to-15-minute walks of the hotel.
Punta Cancún offers a privileged location just 20 minutes from Cancún International Airport, allowing attendees to take advantage of the close proximity of an enormous variety of restaurants, shopping malls, recreation centers, golf courses and night life, which all extend special discounts to convention visitors
