service and quality of food was outstanding. the staff, was excellent.

the rooms are uncomfortable, too small, there is no room to sit down and the bathrooms are way too small. there is no use for a hot tub in the middle of the room.

The food was good. Beaches are beautiful. Pool area was very nice.

Staff wasn't very accommodating or truthful. Booked an oceanfront with a king bed. Got there and they gave me a Lagoon (back of building) room. Told me since I booked through that they couldn't do anything about it. But then said there weren't any available. So I went to the room and then came back down to the lobby and talked to someone else 20 minutes later. That person agreed to switch my room. Got in that room and there wasn't a king bed, only two full sized beds. So I asked that person for a king. They told me they don't have rooms with king sized beds on the oceanfront, and that all of the king rooms are on the back side of the building. I said ok and went to dinner. While discussing this with friends at dinner, I learn that three couples also traveling with us also encountered the same thing and that they were all now staying in oceanfront king suites after making a scene in the lobby. I decided to not make a stink, and just slept in the full size bed but, didn't like that I was lied to. The staff didn't seem to care about except, one day. One morning we woke up and walked to breakfast and every staff member spoke to us. People were cleaning. The kitchen staff carried our plates, got us drinks, and seemed to want their service level to be a 10. It was like we were at another resort that. I assume there was a general manager that had been off and came back to work that day. Because, everyone in the building knew what they were supposed to be doing and did it well. However, the next day it went right back to nobody caring again. If they can have whoever ran the place on 10/22, run it everyday- it would be right. Rooms are small. The huge hot tub in the middle of the room makes it kind of weird. I have stayed at Rui Palace, Rui Caribe, and Iberostar in the past 12 months. All three were much nicer. Hard Rock's rooms are very noisy too. You can hear everything. You won't get a good nights sleep there.

    room service included

i paid extra money for ocean view but it turned out to be a building view. you have to step outside to the balcony to see the ocean. I chose lagoon view instead and to get money refunded, I had to argue about 4-6 hours and with around 5 different staff members over the 3 day period to get it. One staff was very nice and friendly.
