Cousy room, delicious food
- peaceful - no disturbing lights or traffic or other noise, you could see the stars the moon and the fireflys - nice personnel - interesting place
- the furniture were not comfortable - the ocean view was not as expected from your add
Overall casa blatha was a nice place to stay. Very decent for the price. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and basic. I would not recommend staying there during the musquito season. We were there in October and it was the season! Holbox as a whole can get many musquitos and casa blatha is further down the beach making the musquito situation even worse there.
toda la onda ecologica y organica
esta muy lejos el hotel, y cobran todo extra.
The staff and the food
Location is great to have a total immersion in the island and be in touch with nature. Very quiet area. No noise at all. Staff was very friendly. The beach is just there. You can literally wake up and go from bed to the sea.
Location is great but keep in mind the closest restaurant or convenience store is 1 km (35 min walking)away. Their restaurant is not open all the time and guests have no access to the kitchen.
The view, the bikes, cool vibe, comfy bed, the cost, yoga, cleanliness, artistry/design, walking the beach to town.
Not being able to purchase bottled water/ice while being far from town, the shower pressure (like a fine mist), no towels left last day we were there, no helpful info in room.
Its on the beach, friendly staff
Food: included breakfast is continental (toast + butter + jam), the bread may be organic but it tastes like shoes. you can order omelette but its also dry and tasteless
I really liked the staff. The lobby area is a very welcoming and comfortable place because of them. My first morning there, there was fresh made from scratch rosemary bread and the next freshly made whole wheat with honey which I got to taste fresh out of the oven. The WIFI connection worked great in the lobby which was nice to be able to come up for messages in the morning and ignore them the rest of the day. Somehow I missed the outdoor shower by the beach house until the last day of my stay, it helped tremendously to keep the sand out and it was nice to rinse the salt water off before going to bed. Great value if you like walking the beach.
Great people, great location, creatively designed construction all works well especially if you appreciate nature, sun and clean air/water.
I really like the atmosphere at Casa Blatha. Everyone one, and I mean EVERYONE is very very friendly and nice. The staff is amazing. The location is quiet and just far enough from the town so the walk helps you digesting all the good Mexican food that you ate too much (the food on the Island is so so good). The rooms were super clean and there was always hot water!
Nothing. The breakfast was excellent (the included one and the extra ones as well). The coffee could be a little bit stronger.
Beautiful views from Casa Blat'ha and excellent customer service.
Casa Blat'ha is a 10-15 minute walk from town which usually would be no problem, however with weather not cooperating it was tough to hoof it in streets with 2 feet of standing water. Make sure you get airconditioning as keeping your windows open invites many mosquitoes. Bring bug spray for sure.
Good value. The managment was very friendly and nice. .
The hole stay on Casa Blatha was good, until the last day when we saw that 1500 pesos was missing. The owner told us that they have problem with the cleaning staff. So don´t stay here if you don´t want to lose your Money.
