Great location and friendly staff. Miguel was very helpful in recommending places to eat and places to go see. Rooms are very clean and comfortable as well as the common area and kitchen. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nothing to dislike, only wish we could have stayed longer.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation in a great Centro Historico location -- an easy and flat 2-block walk to the Jardin. Best part of Casa Calibri are the owners, Miguel and Cindy, who treat each guest to wonderful hospitality and providing very helpful recommendations to assure a great stay in SMA. With free parking if arranged in advance, Casa Calibri is a true gem in the heart of SMA -- already looking forward to our next trip and a return stay at Casa Calibri !

We couldn't have found a better place to stay than Casa Colibrí. Apart from being close to the historical center of the city, it is beautifully decorated and includes a lovely dining room, kitchen, courtyard and sitting area apart from the rooms themselves that are perfect for relaxing. Miguel, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us and make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible - we felt completely at home. Miguel gave us many wonderful suggestions for restaurants, sites to see and routes to follow in exploring the city. He went out of his way to organize great taxi service for us to and from the airport and was available at all times to help with any questions or needs we had. We couldn't have had a kinder host or a nicer stay in San Miguel and would wholeheartedly recommend Casa Colibrí to anyone traveling there! I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if I returned.

Casa Colibri is one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed at. I loved the gorgeous, rustic but modern decor. The location was perfect. It was super clean and felt very safe. Miguel and his wife were very helpful, they even gave us maps and recommended cool spots to check out nearby. I would highly recommend staying here.

Casa Colibri is not just a boutique hotel it is a luxurious and rich experience. The whole place is beautifully decorated & furnished both inside and out and it exudes a very unique ambience that only few special hotels manage to capture. It is obvious the owners have spent a lot of time on creating this unique environment which is both inviting and totally relaxing for the guests. The owners and staff are wonderful and could not be more helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are luxurious, romantic & very comfortable so much so, one could find themselves deciding to stay in for the day rather than going out to see the sights of the gorgeous San Miguel.

Absolutely everything! Close enough to the center to be super convenient (about 3 minutes walking) yet just barely far enough away to also be quiet and peaceful. The owner is very nice and friendly and the ambiance was very traditional and historic feeling yet with all modern comforts and conveniences. Fresh, clean, convenient, comfortable... Favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. They provide water both in room as well as a large jug for filling water bottles to take out for the day. Super nice!

I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place with soundproof rooms but otherwise... amazing!

The owner was so kind, friendly and helpful and did everything he could to ensure we had a great stay. Including standing on the street trying to get us a taxi as we were late for a wedding whilst we were still getting ready. Also when we lost a bank card he kindly provided the phone numbers of the bank and let us use his phone. A very lovely person. I thoroughly recommend this place, the location is perfect, the wifi is great and there is a nice kitchen area to help yourself to water, tea, coffee and cereal bars.

Beautiful decor, rustic hacienda style. Excellent price-value. Centrally located, coffee & tea 24/7. Nice and super clean common areas. Staff was friendly, Miguel the owner is a class act, super friendly and most helpful! He organized a tour for us to Dolores Hidalgo which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again.

No AC, but did not need it when we were there. Weather was good. They do have ceiling fans though.

A very nice small hotel with a mexican-homey touch. The staff was friendly and attentive. Very good price-value relationship. I would definitely stay there on my next visit to San Miguel.

Even though the hotel is very calm and quiet, you can hear some noises from the hotel surroundings at night.

Miguel and Cynthia made us stay like at home, very charming and open hosts. The rooms are very charming, cozy and comfortable and the common parts of the hotel (living room, kitchen, dining room) are perfect places to share a glass of wine with other guests and also the hosts in the evening. Excellent choice!

Location was three blocks from the Jardin and you didn't hear as many church bells. The owners were very friendly and tried there best to meet all our needs. The value was excellent and beds and baths were brand new.

The only issue I had was the lock on the door was not very secure. The owner was going to have that fixed.

The personal interest they took in us. That way they were able to direct us to places we would be interested in seeing. Loved the screen in the window do we could sleep with the windows open. The aroma of the jacaranda treen permeated the house. Lovely.
