WiFi is virtually non usable. beds have springs that poke you in the back. The A/C doesn't work well enough. The hot water tap leaked all over our bathroom vanity. We reported it and no repair was made during our stay.
Location can't be beat. Close to all the nice areas. Staff is extremely helpful and kind, especially Viktor. We did wonder about Diego though and whether or not his recommendations were honest. He suggested a shop with local crafts that tried to rip us off, after we told him about another shop's crazy prices. His response is that prices are not regulated. The Mayan cooperatives are to be avoided; they lie about their products and their hours of operation, pressuring you that they will be closing, yet they were open non-stop for the 4 days of our visit. Sorry, this is turning out to be more of what I didn't like. . . .
