The bad news was that there is still much repair work to be done including inoperable elevators and ice machines, flooring and roof repairs, missing beachfront improvements, etc. so there is considerable construction noise from this and adjacent property repair work along with very loud music all day from The Office and Mango Deck. While the onsite spa was very nice, the fitness equipment was old and none of the elliptical machines were working. The hotel needs to do a better job securing the wedding events to avoid wedding crashers and petty thefts.
The good news was that Casa Dorado did not suffer much hurricane damage, the staff was very friendly and professional, the views were incredible, the rooms are very spacious, the food was excellent and the hotel is located on one of the safest beaches in Los Cabos. The hotel served as a perfect destination wedding venue for our group.
