Casa Frida was wonderfully peaceful. The grounds are lovely and lovingly tended. The beds were comfortable. Everything -- in the room and out -- felt perfectly clean and very well cared for. And the staff was friendly and very helpful.

Our room -- being on the garden level and on the way between the entry and the breakfast room-- felt less private than I would have liked.

Great place outside the city center. Great sunsets. Really nice house adapted for hotel.

Parking lot isn't near the hotel.

Excellent attention by staff. Beautiful facility and well maintained. Beautiful city view. Recommend staying here, as an excellent value for the cost.

Nothing that I did not like. Only to mention that being situated high on mountain, it was difficult to walk to and from El Centro. However taxis were readily available, so it was not a big inconvenience. And the view from the rooftop patio and my room made up for it.

    Beautiful facilities and rooms-nice staff

Very cold--no heat except space heater in room so beautiful facilities were not inviting at all--even kitchen was cold for breakfast. Breakfast was a croissant and a fruit bowl which is probably great in warm weather. Steep walk to center and back so be prepared. Not worth premium in off season--better places with heat closer in.

Beautiful facilities and rooms. Much tile work and attention to detail

It was not heated. They should advise that during colder weather there is no heat except for a space heater which keeps the bedroom "not cold." Thus, the beautiful facilities, even the kitchen for breakfast, was not comfortable. If we were staying longer we would have left to places in the city with heat. During high season I am sure it it great but I wish they would let people know that the standard is no heat. There were several decent in-town options that were warm--we stopped for coffee there. Breakfast was unimpressive but that might be the cold speaking as a 1 warm croissant and a fruit bowl is nice in hot weather. So not worth the premium over other options during low-colder season.

Very nice rooms, ultra clean and easy to enjoy. Very nice setting and views. Excellent continental breakfast served.Additional items not offered beyond single servings, however.

Difficult to walk to town from. Impossible to walk back to. Very steep and hard to manage hills. You must use a taxi to go back and forth to this. Also--surprisingly--there was very little English spoken or understood. Not what I anticipated after reading the reviews.
