The location was great and the courtyard is very pretty as you enter. Breakfast coupons given for a restaurant close by.
After checking in, we didn't see a staff member on the premises, except one time. We were there for 2 nights and had no hot water the entire stay. The room was dark and cold. Excepț for the locațion, we are not sure we would stay here again.
Good value and excellent location. Very attractive and rooms had good decor.
WiFi was not accessible from room and often not accessible from office. We finally went to Starbucks to connect. No phone or clock. Asked for wake up call on day of departure. No one came. Didn't like having to walk to another location for breakfast.
My stay at Casa Luna was perfect in every way. Sergio and the rest of the staff were excellent even though some of them did'nt speak perfect English.
Location good. Staff friendly.
Short on amenities. Lacks bath cleanliness. no hair dryer. inexpensive toiletries. Motel 6 comparable.
My friend and I enjoyed a week at Casa Luna. Our room was comfortable and an architecturally charming. The gardens were absolutely beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We were just a few blocks from the central plaza, El Jardin, and were very comfortable walking "home" at 9 or 10 p.m. They also set us up with a shuttle driver who drove us to and from the airport regaling us with stories of Mexican life. We had a fine stay at Casa Luna and hope to return.
We wish that they had served breakfast on site, but we found our favorite place a block away.
This place is a hidden gem in a beautiful city. The grounds are exquisite and the setting for the hotel is like stepping into a enchanted garden. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are super large and very clean & comfortable. It is a very romantic place to stay I would definitely return without hesitation
Nothing not to like
Beautiful property Helpful staff
Great location and beautiful gardens, private terrace, san miguel is a mexican treasure. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom really unique, carved wood and mexican tile everywhere. Friendly staff, welcoming.
The hotel could have a few more services.... perhaps a place to buy water and soft drinks....a continental breakfast....a hair dryer in the room....some literature about san miguel, tourist info etc. For the amount paid this small services would go a long way to bringing the hotel into the excellent category.
The hotel is very pretty and our bedroom + shower was beautiful!
When a hotel offers two pillows per person. At least one pillow should be soft - All pillows were hard to sleep with.
CasaLuna was such a wonderful place to stay. The service was wonderful, it is as quiet as can be with only 8-10 rooms available to stay. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk up to the main square, and not to mention the beds are amazingly comfortable and the bathtubs are straight from Rome! We were a young couple staying in San Miguel just before heading to a friends wedding in Guanajuato. It's an easy and beautiful city, incredibly relaxed and comfortable. I highly highly recommend staying here!
literally there is nothing to like besides the doorbell…you feel slightly guilty for making the staff come up to the entry each time you come back to the hotel…but they are so sweet and generous it's ok, and it makes you feel safe to have the locked front gate (not to mention it's beautiful)
Location to central, the decor, service.
No internet in the room. (Need a booster), poor breakfast offer for a BB (only black coffee no milk)
staff were very helpful and could not have been better.
no hot water for 2 days. fountains not working. common areas had been neglected.
