Not so modern, basic hotel. As most of hotels on Hoteles Zone Cancun. Food was ok. Wifi was good. Staff was helpful.
Crowded, basic hotel. Style 70's. Old fashioned.
The hotel was old but it was acceptable. The most important for me was the Free internet service which I booked this hotel because of that, but unfortunately it was really really slow and it was disconnected totally for 3 separate days during my 10 days stay over there. The breakfast was good but the reception activity was not acceptable specially regarding to payments. when I paid them in USD they return me PESO which was not acceptable for me for a 5 star hotel !
Internet service, Reception
Breakfast was good. Close to bus stop.
Front desk very rude, they said I didn't have a reservation, they wanted me to leave, but I made reservations online and I had paid 600 dollars already or I would've gone somewhere alse. Beds are hard as a rock. There was no Internet, they chrge for local calls. In general they are rude. You are not allowed to use all the beach sitting area, they ask you to move if you seat in the nice comfortable section they say this section is reserved for vip and show you old chairs and say that's your section. The entertainment is a guy "singing" .don't go here. This is not a 5 star hotel.
The service was excellent, the Casa Maya staff are customer service focus, kind, courteus and happy people. The food service is good value for the excellent quality. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen in the hotels associates with Booking.com. Great selection and variety of food, fruits and drinks.
The approach the concierges had upon customer arrival (chek in ), to convince (stalk) the customer to participate in a presentation of the Hotel and it time share program. WiFi conectivity was poor or non existent, and the internet conection in the business center gave us more problems than solutions while trying to pre check in our flight.
the breakfast is ok
the rooms are ugly and smelly
Nice staff and breakfast, nice beach.
Hotel located close to the beach in the middle of nowhere , far away from shops and entertainment. Very very bad wi-fi in all areas Doorkey didn't work Old furniture, hotell was built 1981 From our balcony we heard noisy fans running. No toothpicks at dinnertable
the beach, the breakfast
you have to tip ALL the time !!! even making a reservation with breakfast included, you must tip.
Big and quiet room. Good Staff. Could stay there next time.
The beach, pool area, breakfast, location
WIFI is an extra cost, 10 USD per hour (if I remember correctly), had to wait our room for 2,5 hours in the lobby
Everything was great !! I under-estimated this hotel and I would say is the best price-comfort hotel, no doubt on come back.
The smell that comes from the shower, smells not so good some times
Todo estuvo súper !!!
Olor en la ducha, algo huele mal (agua o la tina)
The beach The breakfast The staff
The rooms are old and stinky Smelly carpets
Breakfast was good. Staff/maids were friendly and willing to help. Beach was vey nice.
Check-in was bad, did not get what we paid for, moved after one day. No hot water 5 of 7 days Pool was warmer than our shower the first three days. Lunch/dinner buffets were not very good. Time share pitch...discussed. Was told that the hotel club members get the best rooms, no matter what we paid.
Food Bad at night No Ice in Machines on any floor The room had a funny smell to it Bad Safe did not work had to use friends room safe
Loved the location & the grounds & beach were absolutely georgeous & well maintained. Staff was very friendly.
didn't like the run around at checkin. rooms were overlooking parking lot, after wasting 2 hours of beach time we finally got better rooms. The rooms were clean but moldy smelling. The outside of the building needs a lot of TLC. Breakfast was excellent but the other 2 restaurants, beach & palapa weren't good.NOT a 4 star hotel. Probably would not stay there again.
Very good but quite expensive hotel. Nice rooms, some of them have microwaves. Very nice view to the seaside. Swimming pool has very nice warm water, suitable for cold rainy weather. The cuisine in restaurants is amazying and buffet dinners are really good value for moeny
Place for swimming in the sea is very short; separate zones for club/non-club members make non-club members feel as if they are second sort of less valuable guests. Most of the facilities including wifi are free only for members but not for non-members; again is very unconvenient and not really sutable for 5star hotel
The room was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was good, lots of choices.
Not a good location for getting to other attractions and restaurants. We didn't like being pressured as soon as we arrivied to buy a timeshare. Not good dining options at hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
There was no hot water, only tepid, both in the bathroom and in the hot tubs.
The straff was extremely generous and service-minded, also good English speakers.
Some rooms were not up to date. We received a damp room with an awful smell, but could easily switch.
The food was very good, including the breakfast buffet and outdoor restaurant. The gym was nice. Good beach and pool. Nicely kept premises. Friendly staff. Good location. Good sized rooms with amenities.
The rooms were a bit outdated. Very old looking comforters, and fairly hard beds. It's very sneaky and cheap to make guests wash their dishes, otherwise incur an additional fee, given the price per night here. These kinds of things will prevent customers from returning in the future, or recommending this hotel.
I love the beautiful view of my room, the fast access from the pool to the beach and the staff was very kind.
I don't like the horrible noise every time my husband and I and other people made when flush the toilet.
the prices at the pharmacy
Excellent Location, spacious rooms, fantastic beach, good value for money.
- Convenience: Next (100m) from the windsurf competition venue my son attended. - Value for money.
The infrastructure is old and a run dowm. Several details are not well mantained inside the room and outside.
