Casa Quetzal Boutique Hotel    

It was amazing! Lovable staff, clean, nice bathroom, fan in the room, a superb patio with plants, birds, a swimming pool! Excellent.

The location a bit far from the central plaza, fortunately we had a rented car. The village itself is not great, a part the zocalo and the food!

Great and excellent value for money. Extremely fresh and nice hotel. I was expecting more a "hostel"-feeling but it was really good. And the breakfast was also good, were you could choose from a menu what you wanted (other than fruit , youghurt, croissant, coffee etc.) Good location in nice are that were easy too walk around.

Nothing to complain about, wifi would have been nice though.

It is beautiful and quiet. The staff were all very attentive.

There were too many Mosquitos in our room at night. The beds were too hard, a pillow top mattress would be nice.

Quiet, clean, rustic and well designed at the same time with a nice garden/ pool and a highly recommended breakfast. About 15-20 minutes walk to the Zocalo, could be a bit closer to the center. Wifi worked well and the stuff (mostly spanish) was nice and helpful. Good place to start excursions to the areas around, for example the Cenotes Dzitnup, Samula (10min by car) or Zaci (20min walk). Is good for a stop on the way between Cancun and Chichen Itza/ Merida. Private parking area next to the hotel, not extra charged and closed/ save for the night.

Breakfast not included and expensive so I suggest taking your breakfast at a place near town square No safe in the room and had to leave valuable art front desk where they are locked in a flimsy drawer. Lights in shower not working

the junior suite was very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and relaxing by the pool. There is a short wall to the shops and Plaza.The staff was very helpful and attentive.

im sorry Casa Quetzal but i was disappointed all round. I think this hotel has once been beautiful. But im afraid our room was not clean, had a damp smell/mould in the bathroom. You could still make this a wonderful place but it needs a serious clean and a new bathroom. The breakfast was not great either.

The place is beautiful, with a lush central garden. The room was comfortable and we had access to coffee and the refrigerator. They could not have been nicer.

I loved that it was in the gardens with the sounds of the birds and crickets.....it is a very pretty setting. The house itself is very cute and comfortable as well. Huge kitchen and dining area....the bathroom is great!

The bedding was not very fresh....the cover did not smell very good and since it got a bit chilly in the evenings we had to use the cover.....

The rooms were nice, but the bathroom wasn't spotless. Staff was really nice, but asking for information can be difficult if you don't speak Spanish.

Casa Quetzal is simply timeless. The kind, welcoming staff made our stay so pleasant and tranquil. The pool in its natural setting is truly an oasis after a day at Ek-Balam. We liked being so near to the Iglesia and Ex-Convento and loved hearing the bells ringing. Casa Quetzal is one of the most favorite places I have ever stayed in. Other things I liked were the rocking chairs in our room, the hammock, the chairs and reading area outside each room, coffee in the mornings, the comfortable beds and all white bedding--it's just a very gracious place.

Casa Quetzal is a beautiful, peaceful B&B with friendly, helpful staff. It's just slightly removed from the hectic city center which is perfect when you are ready to walk home and relax after enjoying the city. It's also located across the street from a historic convent. The convent grounds form a pleasant park with some bars, restaurants, and other businesses around the perimeter.

You may hear barking dogs or roosters at night, but this is going to be true anywhere; it is part of the charm of living in a mid-size Mexican city.

la struttura dell'htl, guardino meraviglioso, accogliente, personale molto gentile, colazione super!!

Chambre très spacieuse avec un hamac dans la chambre, c'est très sympa. Piscine avec jardin. Le personnel est top meme s'il est difficile de se faire comprendre autrement qu'en Anglais :) le petit déjeuner excellent (payant mais en vaut le détour)

Le bruit des oiseaux dès 6h du matin, c'était insupportable. Beaucoup de moustique au bord de la piscine. On a mis énormement de temps pour trouver l'hotel. Il faudrait prévoir une meilleure indication par mail ou sur la page booking

Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück (im Preis nicht enthalten, aber für USD 8 zubuchbar) ist köstlich. Die Lage zur City ist ideal - fussläufig, aber ruhig genug zum Schlafen.

Ein Kühlschrank wäre in dieser Gegend hilfreich.
