Very good,
Score from 104 reviews
“ I don't know why it was on such a bargain! I stayed in a junior suite, was my very first time to spend money for such a thing but it sure was worth it! The rooms are gorgeous... I didn't need 2 baths + a shower room though (lol). Besides, it's located just next to a big shopping mall and very handy if you want to have big shopping or go for souvenir. I personally liked one restaurant in it that I used for breakfast everyday! ”

I mostly liked the fact that casa turquesa is a small and intimate hotel with very friendly staff as opposed to the huge and impersonal chains filling the hotel strip of cancun. Good food and impeccable service, whether at the restaurant, room service or at the pool. Waiters very friendly and attentive. Clean large rooms, with desk, couch, chairs and additional table. Bathtub as well as a separate shower, plenty of towels and also robes. Very pleasant terrace with jacuzzi and beautiful view to the pool and the sea. Bottled water every day. Artwork everywhere, different styles, some better than others. But a lot of thought went into decorating this hotel. The fact that when I extended my stay, my rent went up. THE INTERNET IS EXPENSIVE AND DOES NOT WORK WELL. ONLY IN MERIDA INTERNET WORKED AS IT SHOULD. IN ALL OTHER PLACES VISITED IN MEXICO, INTERNET VERY SLOW AND WEAK, COMES AND GOES AS IT PLEASES. IN CHEAPER HOTELS, LIKE 3 STARS, INTERNET, IF AVAILABLE, IS ALWAYS FREE. IN THE MORE EXPENSIVE HOTEL, THEY CHARGE EXTRA.

Excelent location, in Kulkulcan Avenue near a fancy shopping, in front of the beach. Huge rooms, huge beds, a private jacuzzi, pool and a wonderrful view to the beach. Wifi doesn't work and it`s paid (usd 18). Breakfast is paid as well.

I liked its size with only 29 bedrooms. Good air-con in room. Peace and quiet. Nice quiet pool and good access to beach. Liked the art on display. Off season occupancy rates are low and we never saw anyone in the restaurants so didnt use them. £8 for g&t at poolside and £4 for bottle of water to room seemed excessive - no Coffee/tea making in room. Staff didn't speak great English. Wifi did not work for first 6 days which hampered activity planning significantly. No hotel or resort information supplied in the room.

It is not a mega all inclusive resort as we usually find in cancun! Nice view. By looking at the other hotels, we were really happy to stay away from these all inclusive resorts. The hotel was being renovated during our stay. Only a little noise from this.

It's a pretty villa-style hotel and one can't help enjoying the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is tiny compared to the giant complexes along the shore in Cancun, which is an obvious advantage for those seeking for some exclusivity in the middle of the bustling town. The room was spacious and beautiful, three full size paintings on the walls made it a unique experience. The shopping mall next door is definitely another advantage. I have very mixed feelings about my stay - it was wonderful because the place is so serene and the views were gorgeous from every angle, but people should realize it's by far not a 5-star hotel - rather 4, shabby and a little run-down. During low season in September it looked alarmingly deserted. I had to ask for slippers every time after room service clean up - until I gave up. The bathroom had a colony of tiny ants feeling quite at home - eventually they were all over my bathroom appliances and clothes. My requests to change the room for 3 days in a row were ignored - and as I found out later, the staff never informed the manager of the problem or tried to solve it. The hotel was empty and yet I was told there were no rooms available. Then I notified the staff I was checking out early - I had to take defeat from the ants - three days before the actual check out. I explained that I need to be sure I'm not charged a penalty for that. They assured me it was totally ok and the information would be passed to the manager. Then I checked with the staff the day before leaving and on the day of check out - IT WAS OK. At the check-out I was told that I was to pay the penalty!!! The manager was never informed about my check-out notification or any of my troubles for that matter. The manager turned out to be very professional and understanding, though. The staff looked helpful and preasant - but they never actually dealt with any of my requests. Never before in my life had I that much trouble as to be talking to the hotel manager, which is a shame. It's a also a shame that in such a paradise I had all that stress instead of enjoying my vacation.

Beautiful hotel! Clean, modern, comfortable. Flawless. Great location if you are wanting to be away from the hustel and bustle (10 min taxi/bus from the clubs/bars/nigtlife). Beautiful pool overlooking the beach :) divine. If you're wanting to party late every night and stumble into your hotel, this isn't the place for you as it is a short taxi ride away. However if you are after something more peaceful and tranquil, this is the hotel for you! Still in the hotel zone, but far enough for you to feel like you're in paradise. They should offer a complimentary breakfast for their price, however cancun accommodation is expensive! Wifi in room was a little dodgy.

Casa Turquesa is a smaller hotel on the Cancun hotel strip/zone and this is exactly what I really like about it. Before I been in other hotels which always been very busy. The Hotel has more privacy, there is only check in table and this takes as well the typical hotel style a bit away, I had a very fast check in and check out. The hotel is a bit like a museum with lots of paintings all over the hotel on each of the 4 floors. you will find as well in- and outside the hotel a lot of sculptures. The beach has direct access to the wonderful beach. The restaurant staff is doing their level best and is always friendly. The menu selection and quality is good. Perfect hotel who do not want to stay in this large crowdy tourist hotels. I wouldn't say I didn't like something but I would friendly advise Casa Turquesa to exchange their outdoor restaurant furniture (pool site). I believe you should have some budget left for real quality furniture there instead of this plastic chairs and tables since your hotel is so nice decorated with all those paintings.

This small and very personal hotel is situated directly on the beautiful beach and not far away from shopping and night life in Cancun. If you are looking for quaiet and relaxing place with very attentive personal this is hotel for you. Cancun itself is very exploited and nothing we will miss. But if we ever travel back to Mexico we will definately stay att Casa Turquesa. Since we are a bit hypersensitive when it comes to noise, we wish the hotel would be more soundproof.
