Everything is just perfect at this hotel, it's paradise! We went on our honeymoon and it was simply stunning! The rooms are gorgeous, the beach is beautiful and the staff can't do enough for you! We'd definitely go back! We miss it already!

    Nothing! What an amazing place!

Best value for money!! The beach, pool & pool side staff were fabulous! Seriously that warm turquoise water and white sands are heavenly. Location wise it is perfectly situated halfway between Playa & Tulum so it's very easy to get around and explore if you feel like it! The restaurants were great and the no booking policy was a blessing! I would highly recommend this place for a great relaxing beachside break!

The hotel lost one of my bookings for 2 rooms so that resulted in a very lengthy dialog at 11pm at night at checkin! So be sure to have print outs of any booking from to save time (as they will have to print them out otherwise). They did honor the missing bookings and gave us a free 'upgrade' however two rooms were doubles instead of singles so people ended up sharing beds which really wasn't ideal! To prevent people reserving pool lounges you have to remember to bring your towel down pool side & bring it back to the room or be charged an extra fee. The system worked well but for the new arrivals, I totally wasn't made aware of this at checkin - so this is just a heads up!

The beach is wonderful! Unbeatable! The place and its surroundings are very beautiful. The hotel is very confortable and clean. The staff is very kind and well trained. We really enjoyed our holidays there!

The a la carte dinners were nice but nothing special. They could be improved.

The location, Xpu-ha is one of the loveliest, unspoilt beaches in the area. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming and service was attentive and efficient. Keeping the natural mangroves, lagoons and long stone built walkway with Mayan style arches and palapa roofed architecture enhanced the whole experience as well as encouraging the local wildlife to make regular and delightful appearances. We enjoyed being able to sample fresh fish, salsa mexicana and ceviche every day at the buffets as well as some of the favourite Mexican, Asian and Italian dishes served at the 'no reservations needed' a la carte restaurants. The pool was great, the bars were laid back and fun to hang around when the musicians interacted with guests. Our upgrade to a four poster bed and huge walk-in shower, decorative tequila bottle and fruit bowl on arrival and mimosas available at breakfast were a wow factor. The animation team worked hard to provide plenty of activities but no pressure to join in if you just wanted to laze around in a quiet corner.Fresh and fluffy pool towels were provided every day without any hassle. Hard place to leave!

The 'towel game' played by many of the guests every morning to bag the sun loungers even when they weren't using them. There were always enough to go around so to monopolise the shaded pool areas all day was unfair on newly arriving pale Europeans who needed that shade for the first couple of days. More quesadillas at breakfast would have been great!

Tasteful environment; food better than expected; staff friendly and pleasant attitude; accommodation set in rain forest like surrounds; other guests were civilised.

One staff member was dismissive of me dining alone (in the Italian restaurant); sat me next to the kitchen door (when most of the restaurant was empty) and served food ridiculously quickly, so that I had a 3 course dinner in less than 30 minutes. Fortunately this was a one-off incident.

Good location for everybody who likes calm beautiful beaches away from city noise. Nice hotel personnel who was friendly and quick to help.

bad wifi internet becuase of low speed and connection. Good food variety, but quality could've been better.

This is a small resort in comparison to others in the area (250 rooms) but they know how to make it worth your while. The location, based on the quality of the beach, is unbeatable. The fact that it is truly adults only, priceless. Unrestricted a la carte dinners every night from a choice of 6 restaurants completes the package.

The abundance of guests from Europe and their habit of 'saving' their lounge chairs with a towel at wee hours of the morning is a downer. The a la carte dinners were nice but nothing to write home about, they could be a bit better quality something that it is possible for the area. The rooms would benefit with a small brochure detailing the amenities of the resort.

Loved the child-free relaxed ambiance and thoughtful layout of the whole hotel and very friendly and helpful staff

Having to leave to go home! Only one easy chair in a double room
