noisy air con
It was clean...and good service...!
My room didn't have refrigerator and I think the rooms shud have lil bit more furniture and the beach had a lot items in the water which I didn't like!
Restaurant in the water is unusual.
Birds flying around in restaurant, stealing food, this should be stopped.
Their service, facilities, cleanlines, too expensive for what they deliver, nothing that they say on their description in booking.com is true, no beach as they stated, they have their "restaurant blocking the beach their pool is only available from 9am t o 8pm etc etc
Its the worst hotel that i have ever seen in my life. I wont recommend this hotel. Its sucks big time. Im a tourism company, and it wont let people come to this hotel. Very disappointed it.
Everything poor quality service. Staff tried to take advantage of people.
location, and that's it!!!!!
Everything!!!!! Horrible hotel for the price!!! and is right next to a nice Holiday Inn that has the same price....we made a very BIG mistake booking this hotel....
This was an inexpensive option for one night. Reasonably clean and centrally located.
This hotel is a little tired. Furnishing and facilities are in need of updating and upgrading even for this price. There is no WiFi in rooms, 1 bath towel per person and no other towels. Very poor water pressure and luke warm shower. WiFi in lobby but no air conditioning. Be aware there are stairs only if you are in need of an elevator - there isn't one.
was very close to main beaches, access within 1 miute
really noisy airco, we couldn't sleep, staff was very rude and didn't help us at all, it took us 45 minutes to check in! we didn't have enough towels in the room and the room was really smelly! I would not stay there again!
I noticed a lot of the guess having trouble with the door keys, including us. We had to go up and down the stairs many times to find someone to help us to open the door. After a few days, they gave us a different room and the problem was fixed.
We had a nice spacious room, just in front of the pool. We haven't been long in the hotel - just a stopover.
Breakfast only buffet which was expensive (130 peso/person) at not worth it. Due to lack of other options, you need to take it. We took a value deal at booking (50 dollars), the normal room price should be three times the price, which is definitively too much for what you get.
Balcony facing the ocean, free breakfast, free wifi in lobby, on bus route. Close to downtown Cancun. Good value for the money considering it is on the beach in the hotel zone. I have already booked another stay there.
Location was far from other amenities, such as restaurants, nightlife, etc. There was no computer/printer to print excursion vouchers, boarding passes, etc.
Location was ok
It's not exactly sea front if you can't swim in it My bedroom was extremely damp and there was a very strong smell. When I explained to them they said they didn't understand English when they finally understood they said they will fix it and nothing happened. Our beds were practically wet I still can't believe that room is actually available, it was disgusting and extremely uncomfortable. It's a family place which should be stated The pool was small and dirty Breakfast was charged at 130 pesos then we found out it was only 90 pesos. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed
The ocean was warm
When we arrived the room that was given to us was a shambles. The bed had nothing but a mattress pad on it, there were no lamps, only 2 bulbs in the ceiling, the bathroom was dirty and the rusty refrigerator was laying on its side. there were no tables and it smelled bad. The beach had a big boat in the middle sucking up seaweed for most of the day and giving off diesel smell. The buffet was sad and we could not run a tab for drinks on the beach. Next door was empty lot that looked like a dump site.
The over-water palapa restaurant was pleasant.
The rooms had no personality and the staff were slow and inefficient. It was expensive for what you get.
The facilities were clean with the exception of the reception people everyone else waiters, security, housekeepers, towel service people were terrific
Receptionist we're not helpful, there was a chubby short reception guy that snapped at my mom, beds were awful, sheets blankets terrible, no iron or blow dryer. Beach is dirty and icky
The oldest and the worst hotel I've ever seen! The hotel is almost ruined; no renovation after it was built. The beach is tiny and there is a moorage...
The beach is there... But not very clean... On the other side of the road, the signs invite you to beware of crocodiles... It should be calm as It is outside of the tourist places. It requires a long walk before you reach anything...
Unfortunately, the restaurant they share with another hotel is tasteless... There are short periods of time in the night where young students stop drinking and shouting. Then, the sould of multiple air conditioning systems relay each other all the night long. If we had known, we would have paid a little more for a clean beach facing a better and calmer place.
The beach was beautiful, included bfast awesome.
The front desk staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate at check in. Told us that if we were not satisfy that there's tons of other hotel in town... Completely inappropriate..!!
Location, great breakfast buffet, mini store on hotel, security 24hrs
Loud talking on outdoor bar to late hours, bathroom plumbing smell, old electrical stove and fridge
Unit we stayed at had a very bad odor
The view from the hotel room is great! The location is central in the hotel zone, and it's a close drive to the airport.
The staff could not find our booking reservation, and were not very nice. The other guests were extremely loud and rude. The furniture and amenities were sub par compared to the price.
Friendly staff on the lower service level. Location acceptable.
On check in, the staff tried to give us the lousiest room they had, even though a room with sea view and quietness was offered. After complaining we were given a room on the third floor ( no lifts available). We did have a glimpse of the sea from the balcony, so that was okay. The room did not have any safety locks, like a chain. The second locking device had been destroyed. On complaining, the service guy looked at it, agreed that it was bad and left. We even had someone walk into the room, since they were given the same room as we were in. There was absolutely no noise proofing. Banging doors at any time of the night, participation in noises made by couples making love was free of charge The phone to the reception was dead. the room door card worked just once. We had to go the reception every time we wanted to reenter our room to get the card validated. That makes four times up and down three flights of stairs. The breakfast buffet was mediocre. eg. only one type of fruit, no juice etc. no restaurants closeby. This property does not deserve the average rating shown by you. We stayed in two other hotels this trip and the other two were good. This hotel should have a rating less than 4. We believe that the rating given by you has been manipulated. We could overhear many english speaking tourists complaining at the reception. Too few staff , including those at the reception feigned not being able to understand english. Even the tour guides felt sorry for us, when they asked us about where we stayed ( for pick up).
Location, food, cocktails, beach, parking. As for the room only take rooms with Sea Views as some face the road or a building site next door. Pool area very nice, clean and comfortable.
Rooms not facing sea.
Friendly atmosphere. Good restaurant on the ocean. Not upmarket but pleasant.
Showers cold and room furniture a bit basic
I didn't like the food. I didn't like that the room I booked wasn't what I was given and then they tried to blame it on Booking.com. I insisted on changing and the attitude of the clerk was condescending. I didn't like that the simple things like remotes for the tv and aircon were not given to me, I had to ask and then ask again. I didn't like that the wifi was terrible. I didn't like that most of the desk staff spoke terrible English (this is Cancun in the hotel Zone, tourism is their only economy). I didn't like the black mold in the showers and the crumbling ceilings. I would not recommend this place.
