We had an amazing time in Coco Tulum with my cousin. Staying in a Cabin on the beach is truly an experience I recommend. The cabin is beautiful and clean, the bed looks like a honeymoon bed. We stayed at one of the cabin with a garden view but we were only a few steps away from the beach. Moreover the fact that we were in the middle of trees made, I believe, the room fresher that the ones with a beach view. The communal bathroom are decorated with a very good taste as well. The personal is very professional and friendly. There is also a very good restaurant next to it with very good breakfast option. Coco Tulum is a little paradise.
We were attacked by mostiquitoes in the restaurant resulting in approximately 25 bites in 20 minutes so I would recommend to buy a good anti mosquito product. The room had good mosquito net so it is ok there
THE BUNGALOWS ARE PERFECT, THE LOCATION IS GREAT AND THE BEACH BREATHLESS
location, facilities, rooms, it was all perfect. It's right on the beautiful beach of Tulum, one of the worlds best beaches. It is really easygoing and relaxing. We didnt have a bathroom in the room so we used the shared bathroom which was perfect. Waterpower was good and it was very clean.
The place is perfect, you step out of your cabaña on sugary white sand, walk 10m to the beach where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea from your hammock.
there is no AC in cabañas (the hotel is eco friendly:))
The location is amazing. Extremely, extremely clean. Truly paradise! Food and restaurant staff both excellent. Reception staff always helpful. We looked at a lot of hotels before choosing this one but was definitely the right choice - relaxed but also high end, great vibe. Excellent place to get away from the world. Noteworthy: the bathrooms are shared / not inside your cabanas. Whilst they are extremely clean, it might not be everyone's preference to share, particularly if it means getting up in the night (we saw a few giant crabs and snakes etc on nocturnal trips to the toilet). Having said that, it wouldn't put me off booking again, because everything else was so idyllic!
Loved the location. We had the cabana closest to the beach and the sea breeze kept us cool, even in July! It was a romantic and casual room with ocean views and a porch with hammock and chairs. We even had a sea turtle wake us up trying to lay eggs beside our porch in the middle of the night. The hotel was simple but very well thought out. The shared bathrooms were very clean and actually elegant. The hotel is run on mostly solar and wind so it is actually an eco-hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would totally stay here again and we recommend it completely. We stayed at another hotel down the beach that was double the price but we MUCH preferred Coco Tulum.
I'd prefer higher quality pillows.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Food and drinks were great as was ambiance in the restaurant. The section of beach the hotel sits at was one of the best having walked all along most days (very little seaweed). Rooms had privacy even though close together surrounded with plants. Would also recommend the tours to sian ka'an through mexicokantours enjoyed very much
Could have done with more shade by the beach I would have spent the whole day there is there was more.
Beautiful location. Even more beautiful beach. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Eco style.
Coco is a beautiful hotel. Cabanas were amazing. Location right on the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Close to everything.
Amazing staff, amazing location and services. Rooms were beautiful and super clean. Only thing I would change is to have stayed more time!
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
Due to a rather unsuccessful turn of events whilst staying in Playa Del Carmen, we decided that we wanted to head back to Tulum for the final four days of our trip. Trying to save a bit of cash we decided to book into Coco Tulum, plus it was one of the only hotels that had availability. I can tell you tht Lady Luck must have had us in her sights as this was one of the best and most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Amazing value for money, brilliantly friendly staff and beautiful location. The bathrooms are shared but are super clean and it was the hottest shower I had all holiday! Couldn't recommend this gorgeous hotel highly enough. Brilliant way to end our holiday.
Location. Our cabin was right on the beach. Staff. Really helpful and friendly.
The simplicity and beauty of the facility and the cabanas. The helpfulness of the staff. The beach lounge chairs options under cover and some not under cover. Really liked the bathroom sinks with the conch shells so pretty, the shower heads nice and high were wonderful. Oh and the restaurant was also really great!
It's difficult to think of anything I didn't like. It's living on the beach so sand is part of the life. Though I would say that friends were staying at Luv Tulum and I like the wooden stump walking path that gave an option of not having to walk on the sand. Though I thought Coco was prettier than Luv Tulum.
excellent location and ecologically friendly. Property is very well tended to. Rooms can be small but nice. Food is very good but a bit americanized.
Famous beach cabanas of tulum, beach front located. hammocks to chill everywhere. very clean, you see someone cleaning almost all the time.
sharing a bathroom is not pretty nice when you need to go to the toilet during the night, although it's very clean all the time. Far away from downtown tulum and the hotel restaurant is expensive and not really recommendable.
location is great, people are friendly, food at the restaurant is delicious and the rooms are beautiful (we got 2nd floor one with ocean view, which I recommend). As long as you are fine with Sharing bathroom and showers (which are very clean), this place is perfect.
Excellent value for money and the restaurant was phenomenal!
Far from the beach
The location directly on the beach is fantastic
Staff could have been a bit more supportive and gentle
Location, staff, view, amenities, 24 hour solar/wind energy, cost.
Shared bathroom (which in all fairness was a necessity for space reasons and was immaculately clean at all hours of the day) Some nights could feel a little uncomfortable
very quiet - just the sounds of jungle birds and waves, great housekeeping, beach is superb.
Quiet, respectful environment.
The beach is really clean and we loved the pizza at the Restautant! The staff is friendly, I would come back again.
Our room had much more privacy than other rooms directly on the beach (people passing by all day long, direct view from inside the room...). Great italian restaurant within the hotel: best pizzas I've had in a long time.
size of the room: WAY too small (compared to other room in same standing hotels). not enough deck chairs/transat on the beach
The location of the hotel was amazing, right on the beach and close to all local attractions. The whole of Tulum was amazing. The staff in the hotel were also very welcoming and friendly and the food delicious and very well priced.
There Isn't much not like! I would go there again for sure
