lovely, minimalist, clean design. perfect location in tulum. situated on a gorgeous stretch of beach. quiet, mellow vibe, but enough going on to be interesting. wonderful, helpful, kind staff. reasonably priced. i had one of the 3 rooms with a private bath. :-)

i wish there had been a few more small conveniences, like screens on the windows and hooks on the walls. but really, these were small prices to pay for such a fantastic place.

The staff was friendly and they helped us to book a wonderful tour to the Sian Ka'an Reserve. The hotel and our room were well designed and very clean. It was enjoyable to be on the beach. Very nice stay.

Nothing - but maybe I can just say: Even if the restaurant was good it is still better to go to the village to eat Mexican food.

The shared bathrooms were very clean but would rather have had ensuite as they were a little walk from our room.There weren't enough sun loungers, they were all bagged by 9am. The wifi was a little hit and miss.

AMAZING time at Coco! Staff, atmosphere, food, accommodation, location and the beach it is on are all immaculate. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best places I have ever been. Cabanas near sea are absolutely perfect. Bathroom with shells in the sinks is very interesting and whole place looks like paradise. You can hear waves at night and when you wake up, sunrise above the ocean gives the impression of perfection. I would recommend it to all travelers.

The only thing which is bad is restaurant. It is very expensive and service is very slow and unprofessional.

Our cabana was as comfortable and cute as the Playa Azul cabana, at 1/3 the price. The only real difference was having to share the bathroom. We could watch the sun rise on the ocean from our room. Also, an environmental focus.

Most of the time, shared bathrooms are no big deal for us. Unfortunately, my 9-year-old got sick during our last night, so I had to walk her to the bathrooms over and over until we left. She was mortified having to be sick in such a public place, especially since the toilets couldn't handle her particular problem. Also, no hooks for hanging wet suits and towels.

Awesome location, super fresh and beautiful spot. By far the nicest place I have stayed in Tulum (my 5th time in Tulum). Cheap compared with other places (Tulum is getting very pricey!), and very clean and new. Shared bathrooms, but this didn't really bother us, although I normally opt for a private bathroom. The restaurant offered great food, brick oven pizzas. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had the best time at CoCo hotel. The room was beautiful and very clean. We rented a room with private bathroom and shower, but the shared bathrooms for the beach side rooms were very nice. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing! Great location!

There was nothing we didn't like. I would stay there again and recommend it to all of my friends.

location is wonderful, beach is stunning, bedrooms are boutique budget. Pizzas in the restaurant are exeptional, we couldnt stop eating them!! Bartenders make great cocktails.Restaurant staff are all very friendly and great at their job.Free parking. For the price you cannot get better in Tulum.

the shared showers/toilets could be cleaner didnt like having to pay 4 euro to rent a beach towel? breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Beautiful beach location. tastefully decorated cabanas for a good price and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend.

Coco Tulum was a great find for travelers on a budget who still want to be on the beach. They were a short walk from a sister hotel where you could eat, lounge and rent bikes. The room was clean and comfortable. The restroom and bathing facilities were clean. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke good English.

-The people were top-notch, especially Donovan and Diana, who spoke and understood English well, and went above and beyond for the guest. -Everything was immaculately clean, the rooms, grounds, even to the extent that seaweed was cleaned off their portion of the beach daily--something few other hotels on the beach bothered to do. -The hotel is very "green." They care about their environment, and practice economy for water and electricity. The positive attitude is catching. -While they do not yet have their restaurant up and running, their "sister hotel" down the beach has a great kitchen with excellent menus for b'fast, lunch and dinner.

The rooms needed a few small additions to make them more "user-friendly" for the guests, but they actually welcome suggestions! My suggestions were: a few hooks or pegs on the wall for hanging wet swim suits and towels; a few small floor mats by the bed to wipe sand/grit off bare feet before getting into bed; at least one bedside table should have a small lamp for reading at night.

We stayed in Tower 3 which had amazing views out to the sea. Lovely clean room with friendly staff.

Minor point but the hotel does not have a place to eat. Not a big deal but somewhere for a light breakfast rather than venturing out somewhere would have been nice.

Wonderful localisation on the sea beach. Small rustic houses surrounded by the garden. No tv set in cabanas :). Good WiFi connection.

Some problems with the electricity. Strong wind from the sea (mayby it's nornal by the ned of March)
