As someone who lacks the energy or inclination to party until 2am every day (or 5am on Halloween night), I found the noise level to be exhausting. On top of this, there were at least two staff members at the front desk most nights who appeared to use the desk as a personal meeting point with their incredibly loud friends. I stayed in the room closest to the reception desk and couldn't help but feel fully inundated by their obnoxiously loud laughing and a young skinny girl's (staff member, I think) barking dog. Finally, the Wi-Fi was spotty every night and even went out completely for 2 days. I found it unprofessional and incompetent that nobody could give me a straight answer on what the situation was with Wi-Fi or why in my 7 day stay I never had hot water. All in all, save for the cleaning ladies who were incredibly hospitable and polite, the owner(s) would be wise to overhaul their hospitality staff and hire a crew more dedicated to their job and less dedicated to Facebook status updates.
This hotel's location can't be beat. The shoreline and its beautiful turquoise waters are just steps away. There is a wide selection of restaurants of varying nationalities and price ranges all without having to walk more than a block or two as well as various grocery stores and coffee shops. There is a good, fully equipped gym just two blocks Northeast that you can join at daily, weekly and monthly rates. If you're a sports fan (NHL, NFL, NCAA, NBA, MLB) you won't have to go very far to enjoy the games live. To top it off, the area is low in vehicular traffic and very bike friendly.
