Very comfortable and well located small hotel.

The hotel is built around a courtyard, which features a pool. This can be noisy at times.

Hotel location is a short walk to the Zócalo. Rooms clean, water hot, pool uncontaminated and ac works. Simple accommodations for a good price. Walk up to the terrace on the top of the building in the evening for a view. Free parking in back of hotel.

The rooms are very clean and well decorated. The bathrooms are large and nice. The rooftop is probably the best part of the hotel. There are two dipping pools, several lounge chairs, and a nice view. The location is perfect as well--just a couple blocks to the main square. The internet connection was strong. All in all, a really great stay, especially for the price.

The sound carries throughout the rooms given the way the pool is situated in the middle.

I loved the privacy of the hotel and that it provided safe and gated parking. The staff was great and they were there for anything we needed.

If you leave late the front desk assistant may not be there so you have to get a hold of them if planning on having a late night in town.

Lovely place with a lovely team. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Enjoy the swimming pool or the jacuzzi on the really nice rooftop. Well located, few meters from the center. Parking available for cars.

Nothing to drink or eat in this hotel. That's specially a shame because there is a great bar on the rooftop completely unused.

Noise! Darn Roosters! They started at 3am and didn't stop!

We stayed there for one night before heading out to Chichen-Itza. The colonial building was very stylish. Room and bathroom were decent-size, clean, and comfortable. Also very cute decors. Close to city center and we walked to everything even though we had a car.

When we arrived the staff didn't speak Spanish. My bf spoke a little, so we understood that she wanted us to pay for the hotel. I guessed you could have figured this out by body language anywas.

I was not charged the promised rate of $85.00 CDN for a 2 nite stay. They charged me 1300 Mexican pesos (about $100 CDN) and didn't provide a bill or receipt. Not happy about this!!! I was ripped off.

For the price you get a very big nice room. Upstairs there are jacuzis and a bar which was not open.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself is situated within a few blocks of the town square. It's a classy place for a reasonable price.

They charged us more than the "total" quotation given from Booking.com Our quoted rate was $33 US dollars, we we charged $50 US.

This was my 4th stay at La Aurora, and I like staying there. BUT I had a problem with the hot water in my shower and the staff never got the problem resolved, even after 3 days of bringing it to their attention.

No food.

1) No customer service receptionist did not even want to talk to us 2) they gave us smoker room despite that we booked non-smoking. 3) They refused to change our 3 night stay because of all of the above. She sent us to do it through booking.com but your site is not mobile friendly and we couldn't find a way to change our reservation. You need to improve/correct this feature. 4) No minimum utensils not even a kettle to make coffee/tea. Staff refused to provide anything. 5) They do not have phones in the rooms 6) At the time we paid, they ripped off on the excange rate, charging us very high fees to their benefit. Overall, this hotel is awful. we later on found out much better deals in the very centre of the city but our inability to cancel our booking through your site was the main factor we had to stay

We found the hotel had services (rooftop) not even advertised. It was quite adorable--very comfortable and we felt that management and staff were trying to think of everything for guests' comfort.

Perhaps the tv could have a bigger screen and there could be a pot for making coffee or hot water since there is no restaurant.

The hotel is set in a beautiful colonial style building. The rooms were standard hotel rooms, big and clean, wi-fi worked well. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the city center and within walking distance to the bus station, we didn't take a taxi although we had a big bag. Inside the hotel, it's very quiet and serene. The pool was a nice perk, and the price was correct.

Breakfast option would have been nice, but there are plenty of options in the city center, just 5 minutes away from the hotel.

The town Valladolid was ver nice good atmosphere. Cozy. I will go back there. The Cenote in the town was very nice. The hotel offered parking place.

The personnel acted very indifferent. No breakfast service. Just sleep and dont bother.

The authentic Mexican detail was colorful and delightful, I would return
