Grand colonial setting Very close to the centre of town and within easy walk of bus station
Shower wasn't great (intermittent hot water)
Our housekeeper was so friendly and also helped us figure out the room safe. This was a great value! Beautiful rooms at a low cost. I will definitely be back!
We rented bikes from the hotel to rode to a Cenote 10 km away and my husband's bike chain kept falling off the track. He had to continuously fix it. Overall, it made for a memorable experience for me, albeit a frustrating one for him.
Clean Swiming pool
authentic colonial style, quiet, good breakfast
nice and clean room
Room situated right next to eating area, we had to have our window covered all the time otherwise evereone was looking on our window. Staff not so friendly. We rented bikes, first they told us it was included in a room rate than we had to pay addicional cost (for more hours than we had bikes), and bikes were almost falling apart. No comon area by the pool.
Close to centre of town, good breakfasts, nice clean pool, friendly staff
Beautiful building Spacious rooms Comfortable bed Rooms are quite dark, but they stay cool, which is a bonus. Rooftop terrace was a nice surprise. Pool is lovely too.
I liked everything.
Room was nice, quite clean and wifi was working very well. Very near the center.. 5 min walk. Internal parking very convenient. Structure is cute and nice rooftop terrace
Room was smelling bad.. even with parfume we couldn't get the smell away
The hotel style The comfortable bed The cleanliness The nice and big room
The rooms window look to the corridor so you can't keep it open and the room is quite dark. No drinks after dark (which seems to be common across Yucatan)
There were lots of Mosquitos and flies in the bathroom
Nice colonial style hotel with simple rooms but with the all the necessary facilities. Nice pool and terras. Good breakfast but this is not included in the price.
Nothing really, though the rooms were a bit dusty old granny style.
The hotel is in walking distance to the bus terminal and to the place where the colectivos/taxis to Ek Balam leave, the staff is super-friendly, wifi and AC worked fine
The bed was terrible, on one side there was a huge dent in the matress making it really hard. And there was no breakfast, despite the fact that there was a menu in the room suggesting there would be
Very close to city center, cathedral and bus station, nicely decorated room and bathroom, small but nice pool
wifi worked in some areas of the room
Overall, everything very satisfactory and very reasonably priced.
need a more comfortable desk and chair(s) for writing and computer
A nice and cheap option if you want to visit Valladolid and nearby archaeological site
For the hot water in the bathroom you have to wait a bit.
The Hotel was very conveniently located. Very close to the park and Cathedral. My room was big (although I booked only a single room), very clean with shampoo, soap and shower gel provided, the ac (lg) was modern and super efficient. After 10 minutes of running it was ice cold in the room and I had to turn it already off. Old historic hacienda.
I looked for the breakfast tables on the roof top at 8 am. 2 older man were sitting there, seems to me that no breakfast at all was served. The sign at the reception said "breakfast served at 7 am". I think that guests who come on a leisure trip should have the opportunity to take breakfast a little later than 7 am. Receptionist didn't seem to be to friendly at time when I checked in, however at the time when I checked out she talked to me where I am from and waved me good- bye when I climbed into my taxi taking me to the ado terminal.
Hot tub on the roof top, swimming pool, roof top view
No real food services but maybe because it was nt the season and it seems there wee a linch. Go to shimpz whixh not so far for food
I loved the location of the hotel and the rooms. I didn't make use of the bike cycle rentals but it was good to know that it was available. Very clean and worth the money. The staff are helpful though their english is limited.
The wifi signal was a bit off sometimes but that is common throughout the region.
I love the traditional Mexican/Spanish look of the courtyard and pool. So very pretty!I love the hot water in the bathroom, often hard to find in the Caribbean. I loved the location . Away from the busy Centro, but within easy, interesting and safe walking distance to everywhere. Easy driving distance to Chichen itza, Ek Balam and Ik Kil cenote. all the staff were very friendly, the lady who checked us in was the most efficient person ever!! totally on the ball. The hotel was clean and comfy.
Not much at all. Had a great 3 days there. Wish it was longer. Would definitely recommend.
Location is unbeatable. Very clean. Rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious, well ventilated and have window to the central patio and pool. Not noisy. The roof offers a lounge with two massage pools free of extra charge, and serves optional breakfast for a fee.
It could be slightly more affordable, since Valladolid is not a major city and there are other hotels that offer a nicer setting and garden, pool and parking for exactly the same price. They could offer free breakfast to make it more competitive, but it remains a great choice for a room with one bed (when you are more than 3 people, the price is better somewhere else).
Breakfast on the terrase Colonial patio and decoration Location
great location lovley roof terrace spacious room swiming pool
rooms was dirty!
We like the location.
The staff were super rude, the bathroom facilities were in very poor shape, not working, they told us we could not use the swimming pool and it was around 8PM, but later they were young kids swimming there and screaming after 10PM and making so much noise that it looked like they were inside our room. I will never stay there again, or recommend it to anyone I know.
Had a massive pool which is great in the hot weather. They serviced a good breckfast on the roof at an extra cost. Rooms where large and had two small double beds.
Our room was a bit dark but not a huge problem.
Location is good, room was huge and very clean.
Staff were not very friendly nor helpful. Air Con was very loud and could not be turned off.
