Restaurant right outside rooms, noisy in the morning preparing breakfast and music until late at night. Also 2 consecutive Wednesday's a political party held a rally in the restaurant at 8am with microphones etc

No blankets. We used the towels, so don't shower before bed. AC is nice but is either ON constantly or OFF.
Location! Colonial aspect of hotel, arched windows, restaurant, 24 hour Oxo attached. Balcony. Right in centre of city, lots of people at plaza in evenings, but was not noisy for sleeping.

The staff was outstanding -- they advised us on places to eat, arranged a cab to the airport (and bargained for the price), and were extremely welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable

hard bed, no control for the air conditioning ( got cold....on or off only ), no reading lights and second night table
location, staff, restaurant for breakfast, balcony with partial view of the harbour

Small double beds, sheets were clean but a bit too crisp or scratchy. A bit far from beaches, so having a car helped. WIFI signal weak to non existent in rooms, strong in lobby and restaurant.
I liked the historic feel of the hotel. It was clean and the staff friendly. The air conditioning work amazingly well. Right downtown so fun to walk around and enjoy historic Centro Manzanillo. The parking is secure, with electronic gate. Breakfast was tasty and included juice and coffee.

Don't mind if I am not paying too much (the cardboard at a London train station comes to mind) but this was the most money spent in a hotel for the highest degree of discomfort (1250 pesos.)The room had no windows. It was a sauna without the ac and freezing with (no controls.) Spent the night wrapped in the towels as there were no blankets. Finally able to sleep only to be wakened soon after by the din of breakfast being served in the courtyard below. Would have been tolerable if it didn't cost so much. Moved to another hotel that cost twice as much but was much more comfortable.
The restaurant was not too bad with pleasant service. Room was clean but the box spring for the bed looked old and well used. Wi-fi complimentary though intermittent.

Too bad the front is now occupied by an Oxxo store. Also a few chairs on the veranda would be nice, as would be wash cloths un the rooms.
She remains a classic, albeit the luster is a little duller than in her glory days. She is still real and mostly old Mexico.

We were appalled with the experience we had in the attached restaurant Los Candales. A wrong meal was served and wine was incorrectly priced. No apologies from the staff.
Friendly front desk staff and good maid service.
