Hotel was close to the ferry to go to Isla Mujeres. The patio was a nice place to visit with friends.
I needed a receipt for my stay at the front desk agent had a hard time printing it off. My reservation said Breakfast included but their copy said no.
It was right across from the water taxi heading to Isla Mujeres.
My booking stated breakfast included and it was not... I asked for a bill at the end of my stay as I need to send it to Booking.com. First they did not want to print it finally they did, but it showed a balance owing even though I paid for one night at time of booking.
Great location next to Puerto Juarez Breakfast is included Friendly staff
My fiance and I appreciated both the kindness and the helpfulness of the staff (especially the maid who would serve us breakfast who gave us a present at the end of our trip!). Also, the quietness of the hotel was very agreeable. Located across the street from an "Oxxo" and near the bus to go directly to the hotel zone, it was very convenient.
We were on the third floor and there was no internet connection for us... The breakfast was often very light (2 little quesadillas and an orange juice). The first week, we also found aunts all over the bathroom after we opened the window for only 10 minutes. After that we would sometimes leave some food on the desk, and immediately aunts would appear.
1. price is low. 2. stuff are kind.
1. No hot water. At first we were asked to change room, still no hot water. And they fixed. no hot water again. We asked the third time that afternoon, and no hot water that night. Frustrated. Finally, we showered in cold every night. Why we should pay so much attention to take care whether our room's equipment works well? It's none of my business! 2. The room is far from clean. It's disgusting. Every night we saw cockroaches climbing the walls and stay on my suitcases. 3. almost no wifi. I believe that every visitor is hurry to play in Cancun, other than arguing about hotel conditions every day. So, be wise that never book this hotel even the price is attractive.
Location is right across the street from Puerto Juarez, which is great if you´re taking the MAGAÑA ferry out of that port. Keep in mind that it is about a 5-7 minute walk from the ULTRAMAR ferry. Do keep in mind that it is NOT in a touristy area and there isn´t much around, but if you're flying in late and transferring to Isla Mujeres next morning, it´s great location. Had a nice rooftop deck where you can hang out and look out onto the ocean. Bought a room that had breakfast included, which consisted of a waffle, a boxed fruit juice, and coffee. The waffle was actually pretty good. WIFI speed was sufficient. Convenience store right across the street.
Booking.com lists this hotel as having a restaurant and bar. That is incorrect. There was no restaurant in the hotel. There is a restaurant close by, which closes around 8pm.
Bathroom nice, room relatively clean. Good location away from the hustle and bustle. Prompt, earlier than normal breakfast just for us. Made our traveling easier.
Musty room, even after AC turned on. Tight quarters. Dimly lit. Lumpy pillows, beds almost too firm.
Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Internet was not consistent in the room.
There was a garbage place near our room. The place was invated by plagues.
Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Convienent for going to Isla Mujeres. Decent price (600 pesos/night, July). Friendly, helpful staff.
WiFi poor signal. A little inconveniently placed (NE of city). No real facilities. Bit of a joke breakfast included.
Close to the ferry to isla mujeres
Staff was not very welcoming, beds were really hard and uncomfortable.
Staff was super friendly and helpful! The cleaning was excellent! Easy to get around, just 10 min drive away from zona hotelera! but better if you rent a car rather that local transport!
The location for acess to Isle of Mujeres was amazing.
It rained upon our 2 night stay and flooded our room, which we were obviously unaware was going to happen, and had things on the floor. The wifi barely works in the rooms, but it is there.
Great value for a low price. Nice breakfast.
Old fashioned door keys leave doubts about security.
location close to ferry port
When I got to the hotel, they were unable to find my online reservation. The fellow at the desk went to great lengths to sort it out and even gave me my room and key on my word that I was indeed booked and prepaid. Very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Will book there again.
Stay was too short. Not their fault, but that is what I didn't like!
Everything perfect hotel
Excellent option for those who just need to overnight before Isla Mujeres jorney. Hotel is just a simple accomodation but is ok for short stay - clean rooms, fruit breakfast, ferry boat is accross the road or 400 m. down the street (ultra mar). Value for mony.
It was inexpensive
Nothing close by.
Loved the terrace for sitting and having our coffee. Close to the ferries for the trip to Isla Mujeres and a great Little store across the Street...we had a late check in with no problems and quick service.
The staff was friendly and very attentive.
Price is god. The room is comfortable. Breakfast is simple and everyday the same products (kornflakes, juice, milk and coffe, bread). Easy to find (in front of the port to go to Isla mujeres)
Service in the reception is terrible!! Do not have wifi in the room.
Room was clean, breakfast included
Arrived at 2 am after our flight to Cancun was delayed. We called from Cancun to say we would be late and they said no problem. However, when we arrived the woman did not have our reservation or a room for us. She was incredibly rude. I showed her my booking.com confirmation but she said we were considered a no show because we were late. They did have rooms available, so I don't know why she gave us such a hard time. Finally she makes a phone call, she tells us she is having someone come to clean a room for us because there is nothing clean at our "fare". Did I mention that by now it is 2:30 am and we have 2 young kids with us? And we had a reservation? At this point I lost it and just told her to give us any room, and she eventually did but if we had any other options we would have left. Please save yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else.
Away from the tourist area
The lack of response to complains suggests they do not have qualified staff.
