There was a garbage place near our room. The place was invated by plagues.
Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Convienent for going to Isla Mujeres. Decent price (600 pesos/night, July). Friendly, helpful staff.
WiFi poor signal. A little inconveniently placed (NE of city). No real facilities. Bit of a joke breakfast included.
Close to the ferry to isla mujeres
Staff was not very welcoming, beds were really hard and uncomfortable.
Staff was super friendly and helpful! The cleaning was excellent! Easy to get around, just 10 min drive away from zona hotelera! but better if you rent a car rather that local transport!
The location for acess to Isle of Mujeres was amazing.
It rained upon our 2 night stay and flooded our room, which we were obviously unaware was going to happen, and had things on the floor. The wifi barely works in the rooms, but it is there.
Great value for a low price. Nice breakfast.
Old fashioned door keys leave doubts about security.
location close to ferry port
When I got to the hotel, they were unable to find my online reservation. The fellow at the desk went to great lengths to sort it out and even gave me my room and key on my word that I was indeed booked and prepaid. Very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Will book there again.
Stay was too short. Not their fault, but that is what I didn't like!
Everything perfect hotel
Excellent option for those who just need to overnight before Isla Mujeres jorney. Hotel is just a simple accomodation but is ok for short stay - clean rooms, fruit breakfast, ferry boat is accross the road or 400 m. down the street (ultra mar). Value for mony.
It was inexpensive
Nothing close by.
Loved the terrace for sitting and having our coffee. Close to the ferries for the trip to Isla Mujeres and a great Little store across the Street...we had a late check in with no problems and quick service.
The staff was friendly and very attentive.
Price is god. The room is comfortable. Breakfast is simple and everyday the same products (kornflakes, juice, milk and coffe, bread). Easy to find (in front of the port to go to Isla mujeres)
Service in the reception is terrible!! Do not have wifi in the room.
Room was clean, breakfast included
Arrived at 2 am after our flight to Cancun was delayed. We called from Cancun to say we would be late and they said no problem. However, when we arrived the woman did not have our reservation or a room for us. She was incredibly rude. I showed her my booking.com confirmation but she said we were considered a no show because we were late. They did have rooms available, so I don't know why she gave us such a hard time. Finally she makes a phone call, she tells us she is having someone come to clean a room for us because there is nothing clean at our "fare". Did I mention that by now it is 2:30 am and we have 2 young kids with us? And we had a reservation? At this point I lost it and just told her to give us any room, and she eventually did but if we had any other options we would have left. Please save yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else.
Away from the tourist area
The lack of response to complains suggests they do not have qualified staff.
The rooms were tidy. The hotel is far from the city centrer, but right in front of a harbor from where leaves boats to Isla Mujeres.
If you're planning to see the city centre, the hotel might not be the best choise, because you need a taxi or bus to get to the centre. There were no restaurants near the hotel open when we arrived in the evening at 6.
Price quality was perfect right opposite the ferry to isla mujeres right opposite a good seafood restaurant very clean simple but good breakfast
Nice, spacious and clean rooms.
There wasn't hot water in the shower first night. They came to repair it 3 times! And after that it worked for two minutes only. Plus mattresses are very uncomfortable. Also poor internet like everywhere in Mexico.
Wi Fi availability,service,Cleanliness, and price
The bed and sometimes a little hot in the lobby.
close to the port inner garden with table and chairs
The room was very dirty and stuffy, the hostel is under construction and look like someone broke the place. If u have a low budget it still dosent worth it, add some money and stay in a good place, at least untill the owner will fix this broken hostel, even the bads where broken!!
The Hotel is located in Puerto Juares and it takes u only to cross the street to get on the boat which takes u to the beautiful island- la Isla Mujeres (where the beaches r way much better than the available ones in Cancun).the rooms are clean and the breakfast is decent, there's is Wi-fi and helpful staff.Public buses and taxes r available right near the hotel
it's quite far from everything, but if u just find out how to use public buses and their routs (it costs less then 1 dollar for onewaytrip) u won't be lost
Right in front of the ferry to Isla Mujeres, where you can find the best sandy beaches of the area. However, it might be worth having a look at hotels in Isla Mujeres directly. Cheap, Internet works well in the lobby, fine for someone who is just looking for a place to sleep and who is doing activities outside all day.
Far from the Hotel Zone where most of the tours depart. Far from Cancun downtown. There is a bus that takes you downtown for 8.50 pesos. But to return from downtown, you may need to take a Colective bus ("Combi"), which may not always be safe, especially for a woman solo traveler at night. My room's key could open other rooms. In the first day, I accidentaly entered someone else's room, thinking it was mine. The keys worked perfectly, I didn't force at all. I assume other people's keys could also open my room...
