We stayed 4 days in La Cruz and had a great time.
We stayed 4 days in La Cruz and had a great time. The city is small and quaint. There are many bars and restaurants to choose from. Not much night live but they do have a 2nd floor bar that plays live music, which we went to twice. You must walk the marina on Sunday when they have there vendor fair, it was awesome.

This town had much going on, from the market on the water to good, interesting restaurants. Masala Grill, Ramone's to name a couple. The beach is a good walking spot and views are very good. My accommodation was about a twenty minute walk from town. A good way to make an appetite!

Apart from some initial room cleanliness issues and the lack of communication with respect to changes in restaurant location the stay was excellent. Any issues were dealt with in a very timely manner with the staff.
One 'gripe' is free WiFi, it is obvious, the hotel want the guest to pay for premium WiFI, as such the free Wifi was terrible

The town is quiet, it is a beautiful slice of the past.
The town is quiet, it is a beautiful slice of the past. It has cobblestone streets open air restaurants. Every Sunday they have a huge market at the marina. You can sample local cuisine and buy hand made products. You can also purchase freshly caught seafood. Every night of the week at least one of restaurants/bar have live music. If you like specialty coffee walk to Cafe Shule'l, their food is also great. 63732 Cruz de Huana caxtle Way.

Sunday La Cruz Farmer's Market was fun and tons of vendors and food vendors all along the boardwalk and by the marina. Biggest farmer's market I've ever attended. Delicious Guava cheesecake, free margaritas ladies night Thursdays and awesome view of the marina at Frascati La Cruz. Fireworks on New Year's Eve was amazing. You could see at the end of the marina path about 40 - 50 areas that were setting off fireworks. Magnificent display from Bucerias, Nuevo Vallarta, Marina Vallarta, Hotel Zone, Romantic Zone, Malecon PV all the way to Conchas Chinas. Breathtaking fireworks galore!

We loved waking up on the mountainside. The location of the hotel is beautiful! For the price we paid the food was on par but could've been better. The guitar duo in the sports bar was great and we really enjoyed listening to them. If you're there on the weekend they have a taco truck which I think was the best food we had. The beach club has a better lunch than the hotel lunch restaurant. I'm not vegan but the vegan ceviche was very good! Being in the tree canopy is just beautiful. We liked the almost individual sized pools.
This was our first time in La Cruz and were happy to find this very unique hotel. We had 1 of the 2 small rooms and it was fine for the 3 nights there and having the little outside area we could sit at was great! All staff was exceptional and we met the owners and they are very nice. We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was very good and liked the tables out on the street. Enjoyed the rooftop music as well. Overall a great experience and will plan to come back!
Staff [Yolanda & Mario] - extremely kind & helpful. Authentic Mexican atmosphere and the whole building was spotless. Pool was a good size and deck furniture comfortable and lovely. Many areas for public and/or private use as the space is quite large. Beach in front is quiet and it is a short walking distance to a 5 star hotel for wining and dining. We enjoyed watching the oyster divers each morning while we sipped our coffee on the roof top.
The location was amazing right near the Marina and the beach, the staff was awesome and the owners were a great resource for information on the area and things to see and do.
Great place to get away from the all-inclusives and is perfectly situated between Bucerias and Sayulita for day trips.
Would stay there again 100%
Thanks Annette and Cerillo for a great time.

A spectacular place!! Even though the restaurant options are quite limited, the food at any of the ones available has a unique and delicious flavor! The staff is always very friendly; the only issue is that we didn't receive the hotel points or credits for the spa.
The hiking trail in the jungle mountain in front of the hotel is great.
The location was excellent. Only 10 minute walk to the beach and marina. The Villa is beautiful and the gardens are very pretty. The staff including Liz were excellent. Very quiet, no evening noise at all. Swam in the pool every morning. would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you Fabiola for a lovely stay at your villa
Absolutely gorgeous place. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful room, the gardens and pool were fantastic, but the best part was the staff! I didn't love the town of La Cruz as much as other places I've been in Mexico, which is the only reason I didn't give it an all around thumbs up, but the Magnolia made up for it.
This hotel was perfectly located for us. it was very clean and comfortable and the staff was terrific. We just spent a few days in town but it was an easy walk to restaurants and also the market in the marina . The restaurant on site was very good.
The lovely hotel is right on the beach. There is pool large enough to swim laps.
The grounds are spectacular--put together by the original owner, an artist, who collected Mexican artifacts, tiles, and gorgeously designed the villa.
The hotel is impressive, beautiful, romantic and special. In the middle of a jubglez you can see monkeys too if you're lucky! The stuff are good too. The room is beautiful, the shower is big and amazing.
A petite hotel with excellent desing and facilities, villas are very nice and kitchen and cookware were always available. Pool is amazing and the jacuzzi marvelous.
Breakfast was fresh ordered and served.
Pool and grounds were beautiful and view stunning!
