Ambiance Breakfast Pool
I didn't like overlooking the breakfast lobby. Too much noise from the front desk travelled up. I didn't like min. hot water. I didn't like the toilet not flushing. I had asked to be in the new part but my request was ignored.
On a busy street in middle of town, through the doors an oasis of calm and cleanliness. Staff really helpfull
The hotel was close to everything, the town square, the market, the bus
Relaxing by the pool with a cold beer. The vending machine in the lobby that sells beer for a reasonable price was very convenient. You can also get Corona from the front desk for 20 pesos.
Our room safe crapped out after 3 days and it can take quite a bit of time to get a manager to open it. We were lucky, since we got it opened in half a day. My sister had to wait 2 days to get her defective safe opened. I would not put my passport in there the night before you check out.
Friendly staff, swimming pool, hot water shower, breakfast. Position is good, five minutes walk for main plaza, 15 from main bus stations (ado second class and CAME first class).
Bed was uncomfortable and sheets really old and small. Room is pretty dark, maybe the rooms facing the pool are better.
We upgraded to one of the newer rooms overlooking the swimming pool which was spacious, had pleasant decor and good views of the pool/courtyard area. The reception staff were helpful.
WiFi reception was not brilliant but this applies to a lot of hotels in this area of Mexico. The breakfast was limited and unappetizing.
the owner is extremely rude personally and there are many signs which are similarly rude. The hotel is old - there is also a new section, which they post in the pictures, it looks better. But the "colonial" part is in urgent need of refurbishing. The bed spreads are falling apart, but the sheets are ok.
Big room with comfy beds, air con and a fantastic pool, which we were very happy to enjoy. Breakfast was included and good. Location is good, we managed to walk pretty much everywhere from there.
Standard room was small. Pillows were dirty and covered with a clean pillow case. Basically and old, worn out pillow that should be thrown away. Floors were dirty in batrhroom and sink area that was in main part of room.
location was ok, ageing but still pretty hotel with a pool, we left too early to have breakfast (which was included)
room was quite basic and stuffy
Colonial style hotel with balconies around a lovely courtyard. Nice pool and sunbathing area near the second courtyard. Rooms small and basic, but excellent value for money.
Breakfast was a bit basic- could have been more variety.
great pool, close proximity to centre of Merida, free secure parking, very helpful staff, Excellent value for money
would have liked a bar and the breakfast wasn't great but you get what you pay for and there was plenty of fresh fruit, hot tea and coffee.
Pool area and the breakfast were wonderful. Helpful staff convenient location to downtown area. We felt safe walking although Lots of traffic and people. Definitely will consider a repeat visit.
Our room was very clean but could have used a coat of paint.
Clean comfortable room well furnished and beautiful facilities, has character. Self serve laundromat, and full breakfast. Tours available reasonably priced.
We had a great room in the new section overlooking the pool. Well worth the upgrade as we were spending 2 weeks in Merida because of the great price during the holidays compared to other Yucatan beach destinations. ( we are traveling for several months). The daily breakfast was generous and good, although the same every day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was a real treat after the hot and dirty streets of Merida.
Nothing to do with the hotel...the outside street up to the main square is crowded and dirty, we found some alternative routes.
Value for money, wifi, parking, good reception service
Merida is a terrible place with smoke all around the streets, narrow pavements dirt and huge traffic.
The hotel and room were very clean. Walking distance to restaurants and the Centro. Short easy drive to the airport.
The beds in our room were hard and not very comfortable.
Upgraded room in new wing. Big daily breakfast. Quiet cool pool area to recover from the heat on the street. Walk to main square. Beer vending machine in lobby!
Very busy, dirty street directly up to square. Go north 2 blocks then up, much nicer.
The staff is very helpfull, waking distance to many attraction or take a cap to some far location Breakfast was good And has secure parking
Inside plaza with pool
Breakfast. Management was grumpy to their personnel.
I like the architectural design of the inside patio surrounded by the rooms and the ambience it created.
Not so much that I did not like but that I would had liked they had large size and hand towels in the rooms. However they did provide extra towels.
Relatively close to the center of Merida. Secure parking.
Breakfast wasn't that good as desired... The swimming pool hasn't been really warm.
Fair price for such a place, swimming pool, big patio with lots of light. Elevator.
The room could have been a bit more pretty. It was something grey/green from the 80s style. Breakfast selection and quality was poor for my taste.
