Friendly staff Pet friendly Great location Beautiful building
A/C not working
close to everithing !
The location and ambiance are fantastic. They did a great job in renovating the building into design rooms, that are not standard design. The pool on the roof is a great bonus, really adds value.
The reception is really tucked away, small and very dark, which gives it an inconvenient feel. Staff is not over enthousiastic, but sufficient.
Location, hotel layout, room decoration, top terrace and surrounding ambiance.
Lighting in the room- too dark. Evening noise 'til too late at night, and the construction noise started 7:30 -8 am 4 of the 5 mornings of our stay- bad planning and coordination.
Great design, super friendly staff.
The rooms are quite dark - also if you are travelling around the city a lot then do be aware the traffic downtown can be really heavy.
Everything was perfect if you dont care about sleeping
Noisy you can hear everything that happens on the street from one side and in the bar from the other
location and design / athmosphere is excellent
many rooms have no window or mechanical ventilation.....restaurant in Patio's causes much nuisance
cool design, large bedrooms, great resturant
noisy due to resturant, no natural light
Reasonably friendly staff, nice central location, trendy, safe premises,
very dusty/dirty rooms, poor lighting in the rooms, very noisy outside (not within their control) expensive restaurant
Very Lively Suite incredibly comfy where you can feel the space and the cieling height (unprecendented) Not as crazy noisy as said in other comments, no risk of hearing your neighbors with the thinckness of the walls. The Exterior sound is not "sterilized" as it can be done in other big chain hotels. It keeps you in contact with the city life and is really not loud inside the room.
Where do you put your clothes ?!!! There where 5 hangers on a rack and nothing else, No closet no shelves...
location, location, location, 1 block from the zocalo, fun bar and rooftop pool. Night time is awesome. Great parties at night.
NO AC! air conditioning is basic, small, muggy rooms, not enough towels, poor parking situation, valet is contracted and separate from hotel, poor accesibility to staff.
Love the vibe of this hotel. Very charming and chic. The rooftop pool/bar is just stunning at night. I absolutely enjoyed my stay.
No AC could be a problem in the summer.
The good: beautifully restored building, with restaurants (choices include: hip, fine, snack) in patios that are outstandingly nice designed. There's a few nice artesian shops, a great Mezcal bar and beautiful art (huge mural and huge hanging garden). The rooms aren't big but nicely designed, with bricks and other nice materials. You can connect iPod to stereo system.
The bad: rooms don't have window and no air condition. Means: pitch black dark, no fresh air (in humid Mexico that is!). Might be a personal thing, but I can't sleep well at all in such condition. And that's what a hotel is for in the first place. Also, hotel charged my credit card twice with security deposit, the first time even before I arrived! Therefore: would def not come back, don't recommend it as hotel (but go have a look at the building!)
