El Taj Oceanfront & Beachside Condo Hotel    

Location: very close to the main clubs, shops, restaurants in Playa del Carmen. Size of apartment: very spacious rooms. We had everything we could need, washing and drying machines incl.

The beach in front of El Taj Hotel is not very good: a lot of boats, quite often there was bad smell from algae or waste water system... We went to Mamitas beach which was much better.

Apartment is beautiful, the complex is very well maintained!

Nightlife of Playa del Carmen is just around the corner, so if you're not a good sleeper, you might need earplugs.

Very relaxing.

Beach wasn't the best. Would not recommend staying here with small children.

The condo was beautiful! Great location. The staff were beyond awesome.

Location was in middle of everything. Breakfast was very nice. Beach in front of the hotel very nice. Car parking was very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Minibar in fridge was filled ready for you. If you are looking for good quality 2 bedroom apartment with all facilities, full equipped kitchen and laundry option , this is a very good choice.

When you travel all the way to Mexico, You would love to see the ocean from your window :) Now there was only view to inner court and pool. But you can enjoy the privacy and the music from the street bars will not bother in the nights :)

too close to the nightclubs, loud booming music from 10PM to 6AM. No sleep!

The beach club, Indigo, is beautiful... the facilities are beautiful.

No where said that there were no elevators and that there were stairs every where and one of the guests was an elder person. Also, we requested a king size bed, and it was a double bed, and finally and most importantly, we could hear the night clubs as if they were in the next room... I had very high expectations mainly because its reputation, but it was a very strssful weekend dealing with all that.

Location, design, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff and nice pool with jacuzzi.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The rooms were impeccable. The view was amazing. Directly on the beach. Free internet and coffee would have been nice. The boats were a bit of an annoyance but we would gladly return. And would recommend El Taj to anyone who wants a non-all inclusive experience. We enjoyed grocery shopping with the locals. As well as trying different restaurants around playa.

An excellent hotel, ideally situated between beach and shopping/leisure facilities with a warm and friendly and highly professional staff. Prices for food and drink within the complex stack up well for European visitors and the quality of the breakfast and general food offer is of a high standard. Service is extremely efficient and prompt. Would definitely return at some point.

We loved Taj Hotel, is really near of 5th avenue where all the shopping and dinner live is. Very clean, spacious, spectacular decoration. I suggest if you go to playa del Carmen stay in this type of condo, where you can cook, and go to any restaurant in Playa ( there's plenty of it) to enjoy the town. Different from all inclusive hotels where you have to stay all day long because you already payed an amount of money for nutrition.

El Taj is in the heart of Playa del Carmen. All the surrounding cafes and clubs play their own soundtracks. It was a little irritating in the morning or evening when you just wanted to relax on the beach or terrace. But the rooms are very well sound-proofed and you could not hear anything inside with the AC on.

Location was close to restaurants, shopping and beach. Design and decor of hotel was beautiful.

La playa al frente del hotel llena de botes no permitia el ingreso al mar.

Es de lujo. Todos los acabados son en granito y lo mejor de lo mejor. . Lo super bueno es que se encuentra solo 2 cuadras del lugar de discos, compras y bares ,la quinta avenida. La vista es impresionante. No hay bulla a pesar de estar cerca a lugares de movimiento. Nosotros tuvimos el Penthouse que tenía en el segundo piso un jacuzzi como para 6 personas privado, área de parrilla, mesas,sombrilla y sillas. La piscina es linda ,también con vista al mar.

Se encuentra frente al mar aunque hay que caminar un poco para bañarse pues justo en frente hay unos barquitos varados, pero a tan sólo 20mt uno puede bañarse muy bien

Situation exceptionnel

プレヤデルカーメンの大人のリゾートです。賑やかな繁華街から1ブロック入ったビーチサイドですので、静か- で最高でした。

エレベーターがなかったので、宿泊したペントハウスの４階まで階段で上がるのはしんどかった。

De tudo! As acomodações são excelentes; amplas, muito bem decoradas e quantiqualitativamente bem equipadas. Melhor do que se vê nas fotos. O café da manhã tem o necessário e servido de forma generosa. A localização não poderia ser melhor, o hotel fica muito próximo da 5ª Avenida. Funcionários atenciosos e muito bem treinados. De tudo.Ficamos metade da nossa estada neste hotel, que é realmente um lugar muito gostoso. Faz o estilo hotel boutique, que nada tem a ver com os grandes resorts. No entanto, os apartamentos são grandes e elegantemente decorados. Tem a cara da Riviera maia, ou seja ambiente tranquilo e romântico para ficar a dois, ademais tive a sorte de ficar em um apartamento oceanfront.

Desde o atendimento cordial, passando pelo clube Indigo com o atendimento cordial e comidas bem preparadas, até a localização privilegiada: na praia e a menos de 5 minutos da 5ª Avenida.

O único ponto negativo é a existência de barcos na praia em frente ao hotel. Mas isso é um detalhe pois é possível caminhar 10 minutos e chegar a uma praia maravilhosa.
