Remarkable staff and facility

Terrible--virtually poluted unusable beach--located in night club zone-- clubs play exceptionally horrible and extremely loud music till five each morning==impossible to get a peaceful nights sleep--what a shame for such a lovely staff and great facility

I loved it... The installations are beautiful...very complete and beautifully decorated.

The breakfast was not as good as everything else - particularly because Mexican breakfasts are exquisite. The fruit selection was very limited.

Nice boutique hotel.. Great location.. Fantastic service.. Helpful staff.. Elegant, tranquil and very well developed property..

Bedspread was thin and rough.. Bottom corner one bedroom suite didn't seem like it was worth the price in comparison to other potential options in Playa for the money ($350 usd a night).. Beach front was nice but had a lot of boats anchored by the dock which was not ideal for wanting to jump in for a swim.. Besides that everything else about El Taj was fantastic!

This hotel is one of the best in all regards for Playa Del Carmen (city center) if you are looking for an intimate, smaller property, that is also five star property for rooms, services, grounds. They cater to families and couple alike. It is within easy walking distance to 5th street dinning and shopping. It is a beautiful and well kept property with lovely gardens, and ponds, along with a nice intimate pool and lounge area. Lovely beachfront location. All the staff goes beyond all expectations to make your stay and activies perfect. You just cannot find this kind of service on a mega property! Thank you staff and Carlos!

I would suggest trying to work out a deal (pay off) with the surrounding disco techs. We stayed Dec 16 - 21. I could barely hear the music from my room in the front of the property, but I heard folks by the pool were up all hours of the night. I would come back, but only during low season for the price due to the discos.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having two kids with us, we really appreciated having the extra space and privacy of the condo versus a regular hotel room. Everything was really clean and the staff was very helpful. Also, the location was excellent.

If you are a light sleeper, be aware that the local club music can be heard inside your room until very late at night. This was not a problem for us, but I could imagine it being an issue for some and something to be aware of in advance.

I absolutely loved the oceanview the hotel had, the staff was always friendly and responded to our request effective immediately. Everything was a walking distance and had a great secluded spot. The design of the hotel was beautiful and elegant. I will definitely recommend this condo hotel again and will be staying there whenever I return.

I didn't like how they had certain options of eating at the Indigo hotel at certain times of the day. We were told we could order room service from the menu and once we attempted they replied telling us they had changed the menu and were only serving sushi and pizza at the time. Also there were just a little bit of issues with the door lock and one night the rain leaked through. Thankfully nothing was damaged and the staff responded to our requests pretty quickly.

Очень шумно ночью из за близости ночных клубов. Очень шумно работают конденционеры. Плохие завтраки, скудный асортимент, плохая их организация, плохое обслуживание. Из 14 дней завтракали всего три раза , просто неприятно, все время приходилось что то выпрашивать и это за свои деньги. Практически отсутствие пляжа , купатся невожможно из за рыбацких лодок. Приходилось идти к соседам, а там нас никто не ждал и это очень неудобно и унизительно.

Las instalaciones y la cercanía a la 5ta avenida son lo mejor!

Alla var så trevliga och gästvänliga. Det var riktigt lyxigt hotell med bra frukost och fräscha lägenheter.

La décoration de l'ensemble de l'hotel, ses piscines,sa situation centrale et en bord de mer. L'équipement des chambres qui sont en fait des suites équipées comme un appartement.Nous le considérons etre le plus beau et le plus typique du centre de playa del carmen. Il est également très bien situé par rapport à la station de bus et shuttle venant de l'aéroport de cancun.

Par contre nous sommes arrivés sur l'hotel la veille de l'ouragan Rina qui s'était adouci en tempête tropicale, il n'y avait plus dans l'hotel que les touristes et la sécurité de l'hotel. Plus de possibilité d'avoir de petits déjeuner et obligation d'aller faire ses courses au supermarché local pendant 2 jours. Pas de problème pour comprendre l'état d'urgence conduisant a cette réduction du service. Par contre les prestations de petit déjeuner n'ayant pas été assurée elles ne devraient pas rester facturées ce qui n'est pas le cas
