Friendly staff Neighborhood looks dodgy but it is walking distance to Zócalo, and convenient to the airport Free, secure parking Decent little Restaurant Clean
If you are driving there is an acknowledged problem with corrupt cops shaking down drivers just outside! No climate control No washcloths Shower only
That we were only allowed one bottle of water each and there was NO access to clean water otherwise. The staff were not helpful at all about this and other issues!
This hotel was awesome they completely met my needs even though they did not know english we found ways to communicate via cell translator apps it was great. Clean comfortable huge bath tub and awesome shower. Room service served me the best burger i have ever eaten anywhere in the world.I felt very safe there. Will for sure book a room with them when i return.
That room service was done by midnight Im used to ordering from room service all night but not a major problem.
Nice and clean rooms, good restaurant with very low prices. The staff did not speak English very well, but fortunately I know enough Spanish so communication was no problem. Staff was friendly and polite. Check-in was very fast and easy, no ID required or any papers to sign, since I already booked via booking.com. Took about 1 minute from I arrived until I had my room key. Nice shower with plenty of hot running water. Very big bed. A taxi ride from the hotel to La Merced was about 25 pesos (US $2, €1,5), a 5 minute ride depending on traffic. All in all very good value for the low price of this hotel.
There really wasn't anything special that I did not like. Of course the location depends on your needs. If this is far away from the places you plan to visit while in the city, then you might consider staying somewhere closer to that, as you will save a lot of money travelling back and forth. Also keep in mind that this is a budget hotel, so if you are accustomed to luxury, you might be disappointed. The bed was hard, but that is a taste issue, so for me it was acceptable.
150 peso cab ride from the airport in an airport taxi...there is a bus from the airport to the front door,30 pesos...sorry did not realize or get a bus number...rooms are spacious and clean..did not find it noisy but was on the fourth floor..restaurant is inexpensive but the food is average
The area at night is a bit sketchy...as soon as I got in the cab, driver told me to lock my door. That may just be normal for Mexico City but a bit unnerving...ride from the hotel, day rates to the Polanco district 60 pesos...return trip at 2am 150 pesos...would suggest not walking the area after 9pm.
Not what I expected, don't let the pictures fool you, food wasn't horrible but it wasn't exactly good either, the hotel is a bit isolated from other hotels and the night we stayed we couldn't sleep because there was a group of like 10 teenagers cussing, yelling and running around shirt less and, I woke up at 3am by a married couple fighting right outside my door. There was also a problem with the WiFi and it didn't reach any rooms which was a problem for my daughter that needed it and agreed to the hotel with that in mind
Room was clean In General Hotel was clean
Bad smell like burning cheap oil coming from the kitchen/dining area. This is not a 4 start hotel it is more like a 2 star hotel No hot water and was not told by the check in that they had no hot water No food service was available or room service and it was only 10.30pm Bed is so hard and uncomfortable Use cheap Quality Towels Only provide each guest with one bath towel, no hand towels No Bath mats in Bathroom and in front of basin Has no transportation to and from the airport. If you need transportation they contact a Taxi Service who want to charge you 3 x the normal rate to go back to the airport
The price was great, the room very large, the parking convenient and ease getting to and from the Benito Juarez airport (MEX) was good, as well.
The place seems like a five-star hotel that lost its way with the decadence of the neighborhood. The noise passes easily from the outside in and between the floors. Very hard to sleep.
The room and Jacuzzi were really big! The food they serve is very good and at a fair price. The bathroom is nice. Very nice hotel for the price.
The floor in bathroom and Jacuzzi area is very slippery, almost fell. Sheets have cigar burn holes. Pillowcases could be cleaner.
upon arriving we had excellent customer service.
we rented the room at 7 am for 8 hrs. we had the room till 3pm. At 11:00 am we kept being told to leave. we went downstairs and explained to staff our arrival time which she then confirmed was ok. and continued to display rude behavior. we still had our rest interrupted several times by calls.
Very dark, around the hotel. Neighborhood is dangerous according to the taxi drivers.
The location relative to the airport was great. It was perfect for a night stopover and great value for money.
The staff were not particularly welcoming and did not make an effort to speak English.
Great place for short stays when getting between TAPO and the international airport. No problems, safe feeling place, easy to deal with front desk. Hot water and quiet room.
Considering the chaotic city of Mexico, the location of this hotel is great! It's just 2 miles from international airport and about 5 from Puebla's highway (and other interstate).
The neighborhood is not friendly, so I would not recommend to take a walk at night.
the restaurant was closed for "holidays break". No proper alternative for food available
internet big bed hot water
noisy street noisy other hosts
