The Hotel Fenix was inaugurated on July 12th. 1912 in the period of the Mexican Revolution when the president of Mexico was Francisco I. Madero, among our presidential guest we have had General Lazaro Cardenas, Plutarco Elias Calles, Alvaro Obregon, as well as presidents of others countries such as John F. Kennedy. We have also hosted famous actors like Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Jorge Negrete, Pedro Infante, Maria Felix, Jose Alfredo Jimenez and many others.
The Hotel was remodeled in 2008, including guest rooms, restaurant and public areas. Nowadays it has become the preferred host due to its tradition and personalized service.
La Tapatia Restaurant is located next to the Lobby, with the best of traditional Mexican cuisine. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, buffet style or a la carte. Recently remodeled. It has a capacity of 180 people. Service from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
La Fuente Lobby Bar is located besides the hotel's lobby with screens to watch your favorites games. It's the ideal place to enjoy drinks and cocktails with live music. Domestic and international drinks.
The Hotel Fenix is located in the heart of Guadalajara. It has 235 spacious and comfortable rooms with all the amenities, from where you can enjoy the architectural richness of downtown. Some rooms with a magnificent view of the Cathedral, which is located two blocks from the Hotel.
