Location was OK and our room, too.
Paid WIFI did not reach to rooms and on the first day there were no possibility even to buy for access. We bought it for 6 days for 300MXNs but on check-out the desk wanted to change it to 30USD. We did not consider the desk very helpful. Street side rooms are a bit noisy but they are cheaper also.
Staff were friendly, helpful and quick to serve drinks. Great beach location, two pools and a small hotel so had a friendly vibe.
Decor in hotel, esp in the room, very tired and dated. Chipped paint and damaged doors. Food not great - edible but not very enjoyable. Didn't feel like great value for money, despite being cheaper than some other all inclusive stays.
Beach Pool Room is OK
The exchange rate for pesos is 12.5. Shower water is weak. Breakfast not included Wifi is not free
This hotel is a real tourist trap, trying everything to get more money. They even called and woke me up early in the morning and invited me downstairs to concierge saying that they have special free wellcome package for me. Then they wanted me to gonl back to my room to get my credit card. It turned out to be a promotion trap that they are selling extra services.
Attention of staff
Everything a beautiful hotel gear to make my vacation one of the most outstanding stays that i can remember location exellent, rooms with see view to die for really. Food affordable for what you get. Is impresive the way this hotel is maintain. I did my research on prices and this one is worth every penny.
I can not think anything we did no like everything was thought out. From price, details, location and amability.
Staff wonderful and friendly. Great relaxing atmosphere and had both bay and beach. comfy rooms
Outdated decor but that's being picky !!
Every single problem you had, they instantly solved it or at leats tried hard!
While on my vacation, there was some arrangements to the hotel. Also, booking with booking.com always gets you the worst or the least expected room and you cannot change it, even if it was booked 3 months upon arrival.
Restaurant was fine
Better to spend a few extra dollars on somewhere nicer. This place is very a bit run down and staff are not that helpful.
Very inexpensive for an all inclusive deal. The facilities were fairly basic compared to other hotels, but the facilities were good for a cheap, all inclusive couple of nights.
It was fine
Very well air-conditioned and then nice heavy duvet so as you are not cold at night. Very clean, modern spacious rooms. Lovely beach with pale beige sand and turquoise sea. Great sea view. Pool area nicely lit at night.
Balcony too low, so not recommended for small children. You have to wear a tight wristband the whole time - very sweaty and uncomfortable. Very busy and hectic. Pool too small.
Bell service was great. He was very attentive and the most helpful
Check in was a big hassle. They charge full price for our 7 year old. If you do not have all inclusive you are treated as a second class guest or completely ignored and they know this by the color of the bracelet you are required to wear. We had four room reserved and they were unable to put us nearby so our entire family including elderly parents and handicap daughter were all on a different floor. Check in staff was unfriendly, inconsiderate, and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this hotel.
Staff are friendly and supportive. Good views and easy access to all transport. Highly recommended.
No bar fridge inside the room. Felt very thirsty no drinkable water.....
Unfriendly staff, did not meet some basic needs on time. (Reported phone was not working and was fixed until 5 fifth day, to mention only one samples). No communication among staff. Poor customer service overall.
One lady in particular working in Concierge
No rundown of hotel No information about anything in the rooms No menu for room service
Extremely friendly staff, very clean. Great value for money, located right on the beach front.
Horrible staff .... They were pretty rude.
location and staff was friendly
Need more variety in food and drinks.
Value of the rate... Location The Deluxe Room way better than estándar.
The process of registration, takes too long... Seems they want to keep selling... Example... Better room, upgrade of rate, the aplication of the wrist band, has no purpose... For an european plan... Understant that for an all included ok. Only 2 persons of staff. Need to improvee. The staff at the front desk doesnot have critérium, close minded, hard to negotiate. Estándar rooms need to be updated. The welcome staff, as soon as you arrive wants to offer all kinds of tours, services. They call in the morning without any notice to offer their services... they need to aviod that.
location was great in the middle of everything. great beach in the centre of the hotel zone.
interior was a little dated but they are renovating. the cost for drinks is expensive if you dont have all inclusive.
We had excellent experience at the Flamingo. The hotel location is the best in Cancun. Great beach, close to the beautiful Island Mall, and close to the entertainment district. Our seaview suite was very comfortable. The food was generally very good. And the value for money was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful everywhere.
It would be nice to see more variety at the buffet, for example more and better Mexican food, grilled meat, and fresh seafood.
Beautiful pools! You are right on the beach as well in a really nice spot. I'd recommend the ocean view rooms so you have a view overlooking the beach and not the main road.
Staff were pushy, didn't answer questions and were always trying to sign you up for more stuff and not giving advice on options outside the resort. For example, we asked if there was a launderette nearby and we're told no, you have to use the hotel service at around US30 a load! We found a launderette right in the middle of the nightclub area of the hotel zone which they obviously would have known about. The all inclusive option was a rip off for the 2 days we did it, but if you pike cheap alcohol and average buffet food then I'd recommend it. Also it was mid spring break when we stayed so lots pf college kids, made us feel old at 30!
very noisy if you have a room averlooking the street
food and drink,price
