What a beautiful, natural, tropical, spiritual, relaxing and unique hotel. Cannot believe our room was actually a treehouse with beautiful interiors made of recycled glass, tree branches and other Mother Nature materials. Comfortable beds, huge balcony, amazing Zen looking bathroom. Exteriors: lots of beautiful trees, pool, rustic restaurant and many more details that make you feel like you want to do some spiritual thinking and connect with nature. Loved it!!!
Nothing to say
The owner was lovely
The restaurant staff
The proprietors were great. Friendly, helpful, cool. The place itself is gorgeous and interesting. You feel like you're in a private little world away from the chaos of the street. Everything is hand-made and original. Like a little cluster of tree-houses with a sweet little cool pool in the center.
Towels were kind of old.
Beautiful rustic treehouse-style cottages in delightful garden setting. Super-friendly and attentive owner and staff. Ideal location near quiet part of 5th Ave.
We liked everything about this very special and unique hotel.
Did not actually stay at the hotel, so there is little I can comment on.
The hotel was extremely difficult to find, all it has by way of a sign, is a blue "s" on a wooden gate. We arrived for our reservation to be told that there was an error and there was no room available. Then I was told that the hotel had booked and paid for a room for me in a neighboring hotel and that I would need to pay the shalala for the new room in cash. When I suggested they cancel the reservation- the young man at the desk advised that as the owner had already paid for my new room this was not possible. The new room was fine, but the whole way the situation was dealt with was sketchy and left a very bitter taste.
Unique rustic accommodations. Hot water in shower. Good maid service. Security guard Pedro. Camelo at the desk was super friendly. Love the North end location.
Pool very dirty. Weird door lock. Payment options- ended up paying cash because they didn't really want to take credit cards. They should look into paypal or adding cash only to their website so people are prepared for that. Should have some sort of continental breakfast for the price of the room.
My first time horrible hotel! A sickening smell, impossible shower, noisy fan instead air conditioner, many many mosquito, no lock, dirty bed, terrible price for room and so many problem. But most of all Owner is not an honest person.
no air conditioner, bad shower, cold pool, lots of mosquitos, no tv, leaking roof, 3 step downs in the room
Charming and unique environment for a family get together. The tree house was a wonder and the staff were delightful.
Great location to good restaurants and other amenities. Quiet area of Playa del Carmen yet close to 5th avenue.
No air conditioning. With frequent rain showers, the humidity was intense.
The decoration, the size of the room, the location, the terrace. It was totally different from all the other hotels around.
The room smelled a bit. The stairs can be slippery (not suitable for older persons, young children). No complete separation between the toilet and the sleeping room. As we did not get the explanatory mail on time, the location of the hotel was difficult to find.
