location and the view from my room
hot water take too long to came out, some people make too much noise you can hear from your room.
Location was ok. I did not find neighborhood to be bad as some say. Near nice historic church and hat cinema next door. Wifi was working fine for us. Breakfast was good great view of city from top of hotel where breakfast served. Wait staff good.
Bathroom not great. Hotel is not newly furnished
Location, very clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast in the 10th floor restaurant with panoramic views of the area. For the money, it provides a good night's rest, buffet breakfast, and a convenient and secure location.
The room was small but adequate with a king bed. Not much room for luggage. It was a bit tired -- ragged edges on the carpet, cracks on the ceiling, could use a paint job in the rooms and the hall. The hotel safe in the room was a joke -- it wasn't attached to the wall or closet shelf, and could just be carried off. Also it was too small for a full-size laptop.
LOCATION & STAFF
Location is good next to the metro and close walking distance to tourist hot spots
Website says pool - it may have been a pool before but is now the shell filled in with dirt with pot plants in there. Most of the floors have caution tape across the doors and are not in use. Cleaners came in one day and refilled only the toilet paper and threw our used towels and sheets on the floor and left. Not sure if they were on a break and intending on coming back but they didn't
The baths the pipe always dirty, there it was not any cleanliness, the personnel if this does not correspond to him to do it they do not move to help
I went expecting no wi-fi or limited wi-fi connection in public areas, whereas I was plesantly surprised to find the connectivity very good and in the comfort of my room, at no extra cost
breakfast buffet not included
Great access, Bus/Metro(Hidalgo) /taxi, on reforma but close enough to the center
Hotel is older, needs a little maintenance, price was good though.
Extremely unhelpful and unfriendly staff. The reception staff and management refused to refund a double booking. Breakfast had run out by 8am and was not replenished efficiently. There were not enough blankets on the beds and it was cold. The night concierge was rude when we arrived after a late flight.
Excellent location, metro station and airport metrobus stop in front of the hotel. 24Hr convenient stores can be easily found around hotel. Breakfast is also good. Many interesting pictures around rooms.
Location, location, location. Security is very good. Breakfast is the best available. I enjoy the variety of dishes offered for guests staying multiple days. Sometimes I stay here with Mexican friends and they rave about the Mexican dishes served. Hotel Fontan Reforma is definitely the beet deal around!
I wish they had better internet service. At present it is available in the lobby and tenth floor restaurant only and is still a little slow.
No coment, just si good
Breakfast was great.
Having no internet in the room was a drag, especially since it was nearly impossible to connect to the internet in the lobby or restaurant. There was lots of street noise in the roommate too.
they charged us for the room on check in. Then, they insisted that we still owed them for 1 night & would not let us check out until we paid the extra night. We stayed for 8 & paid for 9...I am dealing with the hotel, visa & your customer service department re this issue.
Location - Hotel is near center of Mexico City with lots of buses and a metro station nearby. Also lot's of markets selling food and general goods are very close. Breakfast - Breakfast at the hotel was excellent with variety of breakfast meals and snacks available. Waiters were very courteous.
Room Temperature - The room was cold during our stay and the air con/heater machine would only blow out cold air. Noise - The room windows were not double glazed which meant noise outside, mainly motor vehicles and traffic could be heard constantly. The hotel is located on the main street!
It's value for the money we payd, great location
Was too loudy
Not to much
Reservation was not confirmed. Very loud neighborhood. Very old fashion rooms.
excellent location, clean; nice room
noise, only wired internet in the room, they gave me a wrong remote for the tv, i was offered the good one but never delivered
In general, the accomodations are good, the view and location excelents.
Breakfast expensive, the toilletes are bad-mades and after shower they turn excessively wet.
The room is comfortable and has the essential appliances. Breakfast is good and offers fruits, omelet and other Mexican specialities.
The minus are the location and of this hotel - it is very noisy - and it is an old hotel, worn out. It was very difficult to get a less noisy room, although I have expressed that in the booking, i only got a better room on the second day, after a lot of discussions. They also charged the whole amount at the check-in.
Room size was adequate. Breakfast was wonderful
Took an hour to check in, but then service seems to have improved
everything its clean and close by.
they changed our rate and almost double it when we checked out the made us wait for like on hour to fix the issue... never did and never will stay there again
