We were staying in Chetumal overnight on our way to Caye Caulker and the Gran Marlon was adequate for this purpose. The wifi was good, the rooms were clean and the pool looked nice although we didn't use it.
It was a bit overpriced but ok
The restaurant was excellent.
Bad service, bad attitude, restaurant closed, the worst attitude of the girl in the front desk, they wasn't expecting us to arrive a room without wifi
Location and employees .These two things along with the wifi services were just great. Also love the size of the bathrooms in Executive and junior suites.
The quality of the rooms has deteriorated during the last two years.seats in rooms are all stained.
Nice hotel, good location and price. Clean room with comfortable bed. WiFi was OK. Good breakfast at a reasonable price. We only spent one night on our way from Belize to Tulum so it worked for us.
The room was amazing, loved the up to date, bathroom and huge shower. Flat screen t.v and comfy bed
The pool was small and a little dirty.
The bed. :-)
Expected more, but was ok.
enjoyed the staff
nothing bad to say
convenience of the ground floor and the pleasant greeting received upon arrival.
The bar was not opened when we arrived nor was it during the evening.
Cleanliness of the rooms and helpful staff.
Rooms were booked with additional amenities but werent available also checked in later but room wasn't available.
The pillows were very hard, they need to get softer pillow. The AC in room 312 was not working properly. The pool was small for amount of occupancy during the Easter holiday.
The hotel itself was ok. The room was nice and comfortable. It had lots of space. The a/c work very well. Its at perfect location if you want to see down town
Did not like that no refrigerator was at the hotel. The pool is very small to accommodate the crowd that week end. Also, the jacuzzi tub did not work.
The hotel was comfortable and it was kept clean. Service was good.
The restaurant's food is overpriced and it isn't that great. WiFi kept going off, which was annoying for a hotel that advertises itself with WiFi in its rooms.
We had reserved for standard rooms, but unfortunately they were not available upon arrival. However, they gave us better rooms for the same rate, so NO COMPLAINT there.
I would have preferred a bit more attentive service in the restaurant. We were ready to order food for awhile, and had to call for the waiter.
front of the hotel and logo - they put a lot of of money into it :)
small swimming pool
Nice enough hotel. Pleasant staff (particularly in the adjoining restaurant) with a friendly welcome. Pleasant pool area if a little small. Room was nice enough and more than adequate. Had breakfast sent to the room. Nice enough if not amazing.
Bathroom door would lock you in from the inside. As a solo traveller this may cause you an issue. Local area if walking in the wrong direction appeared a bit ropey.
