    We stayed at the villas inside the resort and had access to many amenities only available to villa guests. If you want a quiet, romantic get-away this is the way to go. You also get a separate concierge which helps with booking the restaurants. The rooms in the villas are amazing and very comfortable.

    It's a long walk to the beach from the villas or anywhere in the front of the resort. They have golf carts that you can take but I never knew where to access them. Also, the entertainment schedule is hard to find so if you want to stay active on the resort (nightlife) you'll have to ask the concierge. The resort is huge so getting around can be difficult if you have children or elderly with you.

    Food, staff, facilities, beach was close by and clean

    My bed pillows were hard and flat, my room smell moldy, an outlet in the bathroom wasnt working so i couldn't use the hair dryer, the lights in my room weren't working and I had problems with my key card for opening my room door which I reported at the front desk.

    The Hotel/Resort was great, clean and well maintained. The staff outside of front desk were polite, knowledgable and helpful.

    Slow check in and check out. Very little information about the Hotel and amenities given during check in. Was promised mostly child free area to relax and enjoy, this was given at accommodation but most dinning experiences was accompanied with the crying/screaming of babies and young children.

    The pool

    We end it up paying more then our booked reservation and the stuff at front desk were rude and did not care and kept up over 3 hours at the front desk, the food was horrible, will never go back to this hotel and we will tell others so they do no make same mistake we did by staying at this hotel.

    We loved so many things about the resort. There was enough that you could go go go or relax and go nowhere if you chose. The pools were so numerous we couldn't visit them all and the rooms were modern, clean and pretty.

    The fact that the only option for dinner was buffet because they make it too hard to get reservations for resteraunts. Major bummer we didn't get to enjoy the nice places that were advertised. The trolley doesn't seem to come around often enough...quiet a hike to the lobby when our rooms were near the beach, mostly because of the heat. Staff wasn't very friendly, especially at check on.

    Beautiful place , nice settings with fountains and gardens and sculptures. Great idea with pool access in the rooms

    Huge! Too long of a walk to go anywhere. Shuttle for the hotel takes too long, too small, after waiting 15-20 min there no espace for all, doesn't go all around the property. Floors (MARMOL) are dangerously slippery and they are everywhere. Mainly in the areas were they get wet from people comming out from pools and waking in corridors. Under staff, place is so big that to solve a problem you have go to the lobbies or concierges that have no authority. The card for the towels is a hassle (and too far) and the way they present the policies that if you loose a card or a towel you'll pay for it did not made me feel welcome. Crowded for checking in or out because understaffed, in a hurry and the reception does not take the time to explain all services . Also excuses to get appointmets for dinner

    Nice safe environment for large families traveling with older children. We were a family reunion group of 25 and could let the teenagers go off on their own without worry. Also enjoyed free use of sailboats.

    Major systemic problems with this resort. At a beach and bathing resort it should not be a major pain to get a towel! Meals in the restaurants are difficult and very time consuming to book. The two buffet restaurants that do not require reservations have pretty awful food. Anything that required speaking with staff took forever (one of our families spent 2 hours just checking in, and the line to the concierge always took 30-45 minutes. Restaurant staff were consistently rude and it was difficult to get things like spoons (in fact, the staff were so bad that we suspected a labor dispute was going on). To top it all off, the air conditioner in our room was impossible to control and sounded like an airport (loud even with earplugs in) and our multiple attempts to get the hotel to address this over a period of a week failed completely. For 20 and 30 something's looking for a nice beach and a constant flow of alcohol this may be an ok resort, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

    Staff was all around excellent from the Laguna pool concierge who assisted us on everything with a smile to all the waiters and waitresses. The facilities were kept clean and in good shape with constant upkeep. The value for the money especially for the platinum package was great. The Mexican, Hibachi, and International restaurants were excellent with very attentive staff and good food.

    Service and food at the seafood restaurant was not up to par with the other two we visited. The main pool and main beach got crowded and it was tough to find a chair, which is why upgrading to platinum was even better as this was never a concern.

    Access to the beach and the variety of pools from party pools to quite and relaxing.

    Hard to get a reservation for the ala cart restaraunt of our choice. (We had a party of 8) even when booking three days out. Tried two ala cart resteraunts and the AC was broke in both.

    All inclusive options Great facilities Cleaning staff and bar staff were fantastic Celene at the concerge desk was fantastic, a very valuable employee

    converted quote from USD into mexico pesos at their exchange rate and then charged credit card Excange rate was very uncompetitive and was told beforehand that the USD quote was an estimate based on mexico pesos. Upon paying, check-in desk was laughing about the excahnge rate and being very condescending, were also speaking in spanish what seemed to be profanities and condascending comments Also payed for premium plan but didn't recieve half of the extras that were supposed to be included at check-in

    Everything

    The first room was not cleaned properly it was a platinum suite, we didn't receive our luggage until three hours after we arrived that was upstairs in your front lobby the entire time which was annoying and we were not able to change and proceed with our scheduled events for the evening. We were upgraded to the Villas and that certainly made up for the inconveniences we had with your facility on the first day. This was my second time staying with your resort I plan on staying again this October but only if I am able to be in the Villas. I was told that since I will be returning for my third time I will get a better price than previous as I will be a devoted returning client. I look forward to staying there again soon this year if all goes as planned.

    The grounds were beautiful with tons of wildlife. The private platinum pool and beach section were must-haves. We enjoyed walking the long distances to the lobby as the path was always safe and very pretty.

    Slightly redneck riveria, beach was beautiful, but rocky and the food was underwhelming. We have stayed at other all inclusives with better food for a smaller price tag.

    I liked the fact that you were close to town but not in town. Your staff on every level was excellent. From the restaurants to the people taking care of our room etc... I will definitely consider returning to stay here

    The bed was extremely hard. Not just firm. It was very uncomfortable. That really would be my only complaint or suggestion that you may change those out in the near future.

    I enjoyed the ready to help staff whenever I had a question. Also how easy it was to get a drink.

    The dinner reservation thing needs to cover a few more days then just three at a time! Also I didn’t bring pants, and they were needed for dinner so we missed the first two night’s dinner reservation until I was in town and purchased some paints. Please put that simple little piece of information on the website.

    Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful beach and pool

    Hard uncomfortable beds, food was good but not great, expected better qulaity meats in the a la carte restaurants, leaky showers and leaky patio doors caused a lot of water problems in room, very slippery walkways when raining

    Not the right place for relaxation, noisy neighbors, loud staff trying to entertain guests in the afternoon, sometimes pushy staff offering massages

    Beautiful beach and hotel grounds.

    The food is horrible in general, and particularly difficult for special diets (such as vegetarians) as all buffet preperations are cross contaminated. Pay extra (despite highest upgrade) for 'premium drinks' such as Bombay gin.

    Everyone was nice, facilities clean, rooms clean and spacious. The adult area of the beach was great. Service at the beach bars. Lots of selection on food. Spa was beautiful and massages were excellent.

    Unable to make dinner reservations for 2 out of the 4 nights we were there. Food at the Buffet was okay. Bed was not comfortable. Very hard.

    Only the sea, the grass and the sky above your head.

    The Princess Hotel absolutely does not deserve the 5 star mark. The territory is massive and no transport is applied. All the kilometers which you have to cover completely ruin the holiday. The food also leaves hopes for improvement as everything is always the same and untasteful. In thematic restaurants have no choice what so ever, only the surroundings and the food is done very sloppy. The mosquitos were a big problem too, with unsealed doors in the platinum villas we we left with cockroaches and lots of mosquitos. In the platinum lounge there is no promised Internet, even the telephone in the villa was broken and the TV remote was not working even the TV only left you with a few English channels. The bed was terrible and very uncomfortable to sleep in, the linens were obviously cheap and uncomfortable. The most disappointing was the concierge and the security, the couldn't find the official taxi driver who had stolen one of our phones even though we knew the number plate and the name of the taxist. It was obvious that it was going on for 3 days on purpose and we eventually had to go back unresolving our problem. W The hotel is sickening, do not visit so you don't regret.
