Ocean Coral All Inclusive Resort  

loved the priviledge option, loved how close to the ocean the entire resort is, loved the nightlife, the variety of restaurants, the availability of ala carte dining options for breakfast, the staff were all super friendly, amazing views from everywhere

limited room service, having to make reservations 2-3 days in advance to get a decent time. The rooms were not fantastic, just ok, spacious but not luxurious, the linens could be upgraded as well as the toiletries, (no conditioner) didn't make sense for the level of luxury elsewhere. There should be a restriction for children at the main pool where the swim up bar is.

All of the staff at the Ocean Coral Resort was wonderful; from the reception/bell boy, concierge, servers/bar staff to the maids/maintenance. We were impressed how clean the resort was kept. There are many restaurants to choose from and we found that all of them were quite good. We would love to return.

Leider weis man nicht wen man Trinkgeld geben will, da immer eine andere Person ein bediente. Warum haben sie nicht eine Kasse für alle Angestelten. Das Theater war wunderbar aber viel zu laut, so das wir raus gehen mussten. Die Strasse von der Highway war sehr schlecht mit viel Löcher und Wasser und schlecht angeschrieben für die Rückfahrt von La Playa del Carmen.

O hotel é otimo, as acomodações sao novas. Muita comida e bebida alcoloca o dia todo sem custo nenhum, inclusive se custo de tips.

The resort was amazing, the crew was very very nice, the rooms are very comfortable and beautiful. Reach food in the restaurants.

The food is good but not amazing, and in order to be able to eat the dinner at the good resturant you need to come very early and to wait couple of hours. Not enougth beds around the pool if you come at the high season.

Food, buffets, snacks.

There is not alot to do during the day. The hotel offers some activities like tournaments, poker, water-games, and so on for free.. but nothing really cool like archery or sports which you are not used to do and maybe dont know yet... you can go out to snorkel or diving (which costs some $) but thats it. So for some days the hotel is a good choice, but for 10days or even longer it could get boring there...

I liked that it was relatively close to Cozumel and Chichen-Itza. I also liked that it was right on the beach.

There were many things I did not like about this resort. You can't get bottled water at any time of the day. The hotel staff did not properly restock the fridge, or always leave towels. We were told we would have a king bed and they put 2 double beds together and there was a crack in the middle of the bed so we had to move them apart and sleep on double beds. The food was not good. The only good meal we had, we had to pay extra for. The restaurants also should be open for at least another 1-2 hours and same with the bars.
