I liked everything. Staff was very friendly and competent, there are many facilities (like beach towels, discounts for beach clubs, hot tea and coffee in the reception room, PCs for the use of guests etc.), breakfast was ok, rooms are clean.Very close to beach and to the 5th avenu.

Some problems with hot water in the night.

The staff hospitality And location is perfect. Theta offer a Big breakfast and everything is shinny and clean. I would recomend this hotel.

Really good location, close to everything; seaside, shops, restaurants, ferry. Very nice and professional stuff. They showed a genuine interest in our wonderful stay, especially Fernanda from concierge who really made the extra miles to make our trips and stay memorable. Very friendly hotel.

This hotel is very lovely. Small,clean and nice, the breakfast is amaizing, if you like the healty food. The staff service was excellent, specially Fernanda,who organising the programs if you would like to go out to see something. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. Location is perfect, just 2 blocks from the beach.

Beautiful hotel! Great staff! Great location! There was nothing to not like. Every single room had nice features and nice views.

The location is a short walk to 5th Ave shopping and the beach. We mostly went to the Mamitos Beach Club as the beach and water entry are nicer there than at some of the other beach clubs, although it gets crowed early so in order to get beach lounges and umbrellas get there around 9:00 am. A coupon can be purchased at the hotel for the use of lounges & umbrellas at more reasonable prices than they charge at the beach. If you're up for a nice long walk, head to the beach at Playa Car. It's wonderful and few people but no lounge chairs or umbrellas. The hotel is a close10 minute cab ride to Xcarat which we highly recommend. The swim through the caves is wonderful as is the whole park and the night show was great. Staff are very friendly and our rooms were clean and located right across from the breakfast area where each day was fresh coffee, hot water for tea; juices, fruit, yogurt and rolls and bowls of granola, coconut, nuts, etc for yogurt topping. The breakfast is good value at $7/day pp. There is a menu for a heartier breakfast if desired at an additional cost. Comfortable King bed in our room and two doubles in my daughter and grandaughter's room next door. This was our second stay at this hotel and we would recommend staying there.

The shower water was cool at times and didn't get hot after running for a reasonable length of time.

People were super friendly and the room was clean and overlooked the pool area. Breakfast was ample and served outside!! Being able to walk everywhere was a plus.

Location was great in terms of being close enough to the beaches, restaurants and shopping on 5th Ave. Also close enough to the nightlife too without it being noisey. Staff were always readily available to help with any questions too. Also, the little gestures each day - fruit platter, cheese and wine, and chocolates was a nice touch. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would come back again the next time I'm in Playa.

The only issue we encountered was the lack of wifi reception in our room. We had room 106 and 107 during the course of stay, and neither rooms managed to get wifi until the final day, with a weak signal.

This is the hotel to stay in when you're in Playa del Carmen. It's located right in the center of town, 1 street away from the 5th avenue (which is actually a plus, because this area is quiet). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were in our honeymoon, so they left us a congrats letter in our room together with a nice Champagne! The rooms were big and clean. We had a room in the first floor, so we had a direct access to the pool, which was great. The included breakfast is very good! Omelette, freshly-baked cake, cheese, meat, yogurt with granola, juice, coffee and more. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to young couples looking to get to know Playa.

My second stay here and a fabulous little hotel. Staff always very attentive, friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean, comfortable and well designed. Close enough to the beach (2 blocks) and 5thAve (1 block) for everything Playa has to offer, but far enough away from the noise of 5thAve!

Couldn't book through the hotels website as payment is in $US, and the site didn't like my Mexican credit card, so booked through Booking.com instead

Service, layout, breakfast, vicinity to beach and shopping

Loved the rose petals and towel animals! (How unique is that!) Loved the breakfast, best "breakfast provided" of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Loved the proximity to "ave 5" (but that it wasn't directly on this busy street) and the ferry to Cozumel. Loved Maurico (front desk) and the conceirge (sorry, I'm sure I spelled that wrong). Loved the free water, very nice. Loved the cold water and hand towel offered at our arrival, very unexpected and so sweet. Loved the double door system that reduced street noise. Loved the general construction ... marble, tile, very beautiful. Also very comfortable beds

Ok, listen up because this is important. Expectations are high given the above (see text box). The bones of this hotel are excellent -- the design is beautiful, the food wonderful, the service great, everything works, etc. But then you see the paint over-spray on the walls, the rusty toilet bolts, the rusty shower hinges, the loose towel rings. It's just odd, and so completely unnecessary. These are not complicated fixes. The owner should recognize that this really is a sweet hotel and if he doesn't keep up with the simplest maintainence it's going to be really hard to maintain the reputation. There's just too much competition not to pay attention to the easy stuff.

When we first arrived, we discovered shabby towels and sheets with stains. After complaining at the reception, this all improved and we got impolute sheets and towels. The key is that you are listened to and helped in any way possible. The staff are incredibly friendly and polite. There are all little things that make your stay comfortable: you can borrow a towel to take to the beach, you can get non-standard things for breakfast with a small charge, there is drinking water available, tea and coffee, there is free internet, just anything you may need. If you miss something, just ask, chances are you will get it. We were there on our honeymoon and we got a beautiful attention for that (as the only hotel where they did this out of nine where we stayed).

The airco is not the most silent one in the market and you can hear the airco from other rooms, although this is not too bad. The bathroom is close to needing renovation, as the facilities are starting to get old.

La amabilidad, te hacen sentir comodos en confianza. Sus terrazas tropicales. El desayuno es rico y saludable. Buena atencion de los cheff.

Los muebles de las habitaciones, tienen su estilo antiguo.

Funcionários muito educados e dispostos a ajudar, dar informações. Café da manhã. A praia é razoavelmente perto, e quadras. O hotel possui convênio com beach clubs, eu e meu marido fomos ao Mamitas e adoramos! Perto de vários restaurantes, lojinhas, supermercados (um deles wal mart).

O único problema é a distância do terminal da ado. Não tente ir a pé do terminal até o hotel ou vice-versa com bagagem, pegue um taxi, é super barato. é longe também do ferry que sai para o Cozumel, pegue um taxi, certa de 30 pesos, sim o preço é ridículo.

Hôtel bien situé, au centre de playa del Carmen. Pas directement sur la plage, mais en 5' on se retrouve les pieds dans le sable. Petit-déjeuner de niveau moyen.
