Great staff, very helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble, they were fantastic.

It is small hotel and the staff (including the Manager) made you feel you were a real person not a paycheck. The Hotel was quiet and relaxing and very close to the dive shop, snorkel shop, restaurants, banks and beaches. The pool was clean and crisp; perfect for the morning, afternoon and evening dip. I felt safe 100% of the time. The buffet breakfast was filling and the beers were cold. The hotel cares about the environment and they give you a water bottle free to refill as needed in the hotel.

Two things I would of liked to see different. More variety of tours offered by the tour group and the bed spread (top sheet) changed more regularly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet & private - just what we were looking for!

Would love to see it as a non smoking property.

Free fresh water filling.

Room acoustic insulation is poor. Rooms sharing doors with others are extremely noisy if the neighbour is noisy...

Despite being indicated as a 3-star hotel, I would say the Hacienda is all 5 stars when it comes to the amenities and the service. For beginners, I do not remembers such a courteous service at check-in. I cannot tell exactly what was special about it but somehow the experience was not only polite but warm and happy. It was exactly the same attitude that we experience every day through check-in. When we left, I even asked my husband ''what do they do to these employees? They are so naturally welcoming that it is just nice to be around them.'' The rooms deserve a special description. The rooms are big and clean; the furniture is solid and certainly not cheap; the beds are fantastic (it is true when you read in other reviews that you do not want to get out of them). All in all, the inside of the rooms is very similar to what you would expect to see at an upscale Marriott or Hilton (but we are talking of a 3-star hotel). All rooms are facing the inside so you are free from the street noise. Breakfast is not wasteful (the selection is enough but not over the top) but there is enough variety and everything is of very good quality. We loved the hotel, and would go back to Playa just to stay at the hotel.

There are no downsides at all. They even have a tank with purified water (same as you would buy in a store) in the reception so you do not need to buy your water.

Great hotel very close to the main restaurant and shopping street. Service from the moment we walked in, tired from our trip over from Cozumel, was exemplary. Warm welcome, cold towel, welcome drink, bags whisked away to the room. Pool area looked nice but we had no time to use it unfortunately. Room was very comfortable and although there was a little traffic noise we were right in the centre of a busy town. $7 breakfast was also great value with some tasty Mexican snacks to go with fruit, coffee, juice etc. Would definitely stay here again.

I didn't like the hotel, even if a so-called "boutique hotel"!!! The hottest room I've ever encountered; luckily there was a/c! The bathroom smelled like mud. The room was noisy and the check-in... Ohhhh soooo late! Besides, the guy from the reception must have given us the ugliest room in the hotel as well (or am I just paranoid?!). Breakfast, too...

Really liked the hotel,the staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great.Free Wi-Fi.We'll be back to Playa in a few days and gonna stay at Hacienda Paradise again.

My stay at the Hacienda Paradise was wonderful. The staff was very professional and accommodating making my 3 weeks there great. The Wi-Fi was good and breakfast was even better. The rooms are very comfortable with one of the best beds I've had in any hotel. The hotel was close to everything with a Mega store only 10 mins away. I would definitely stay there again.

Great little hotel in Playa del Carmen - good location at the quieter end of Avenida Quinta with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of restaurants one block walk away. Comfortable rooms, good storage and bathrooms with powerful showers and nice products. All rooms have nice balconies and terraces overlooking the pretty central garden with little pool. Complimentary use of computers, coffee, tea and water available in reception area.

A courtesy room/shower would be nice for those departing on evening flights.

Kind and friendly staff made the stay at this hotel a great experience.

Le camere sono poco intime con ampie vetrate che danno sulla piscina, il climatizzatore molto rumoroso e la colazione non competitiva con quella dei mille locali della zona.Nonostante mi sia trovato bene non penso sia di livello eccellente!!!
