The Holiday Inn Puerto Vallarta is getting way to old to advertise itself as anything more than a budget family hotel. We have stayed in several Holiday Inns in the past few years, including centro Guadalajara last year and expected the same luxury treatment, but didn't not experience the same in Puerto Vallarta. I'd take my name off this hotel and build a new one.

Nice ocean view, nice pool, nice rooms. Internet connection was terrible. There was hardly any internet - the hotel was not living up to their promise of providing high-speed internet in all the rooms or public areas. It was just as slow in the lobby. This while they promote the internet wifi in a big way with advertisements on the room desks.
