Nestled on the Pacific Ocean's most beautiful bay, the Copacabana Beach Hotel is the perfect place to relax on the beach or enjoy recreational activities in the center of Acapulco.
Score from 68 reviews Good
Clean an comfortable rooms. Pool is perfect and not crowded. Good restaurant. Safe deposit box and free pool towels. Easy access to beach. Helpful staff.
Staff mostly speaks Spanish and they have hard time with English. Restaurant is a bit overpriced.
The location was really nice and the hotel was not crowded at all until the weekend. On numerous occasions we had the pool to ourselves. The place is very clean.
The pool closes and 10pm and you can't get towels for the pool past 8pm. access to the beach is closed at 8pm and during the day there is no one at the beach both a good and bad thing. since no one is there you can't rent an umbrella or chairs. The restaurant is over priced for subpar food.
Great sea view from balcony. Rooms clean, breakfast good choice. Swimming pool. Good value for money.
No particular negative comments.
The room was large, and it was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the sea and lights around the bay.
Staff treat guests like criminals. We arrived with advanced booking, paid accommodation in full, yet still had to pay cash for every meal or drink ordered. Had to have security clearance to leave the hotel.
spacious room, amazing view on the Acapulco bay from our room, the hotel swwimmig pool and direct access to the beach (like most of the hotel like this one) are making the stay magic. Hope to come again
The view from our rooms.
Impossible to get vegetarian cooked breakfast.
The facilities in general.
when a customer complains none of the staff is taking responsibility. I wanted to extend my time in the hotel and they want to charge the highest rate like high season, I decide to move to better hotel with same rate. Every one is waiting for a tip.
Pool with view. Reception staff
Restaurant, slow service from both restaurant straff and Housekeeping. The armband. The really load (must be old) aircondition. Could not sleep without cause it was too warm.
I liked the private beach and the location of the hotel. The room was adaquately furnished and the staff friendly and helpful, especially on the reception desk.
The valet parking is a bit chaotic and it took me a 30 mins wait for my car to arrive. Buffet breakfast can also be of a better quality with more choice (e.g. cereals, fruit, pastries etc)
Location with a 180 degree balcony view of Acapulco Bay. Our room was a corner room! Ricardo on reception was especially helpful.
The floor of our room could have done with a good wash, otherwise the housekeeping was good.
big mess at check in and check out. unorganized and messy without experience and knowledge. management horrible. housekeeping not reliable just everyday something missing like soap, towel etc.
We were so pleased we stayed on our return trip (traveling on motorcycle) as well. All around excellent.
Nothing. Management unprofessional and chaotic.
Not worth the money unless it us in the usd 50.00 range per night. Staff rude and unexperienced in all regards. Maids rude, inconsistant and very unprofessional. Always something was missing towel, soap or shampoo, coffee and ine day tv reception out of service.
Everything. My room was extremely comfortable with a sea view, I slept very well and really recharged my batteries there after some fantastic nights out. There was a very nice pool and you could also walk round the side and swim in the sea. It was a wonderful place to stay. Staff generally were extremely helpful.
There was only one niggle. I rang the Reception to ask the cost of calls, and I was informed that the cost of a call to a local mobile was $11 Mexican pesos, regardless of how long the call was. I double-checked this and asked did they mean $11 pesos per minute? I was informed no, it was $11 pesos overall. To make sure I gave the reception girl the number over the phone and she confirmed it would be 11 pesos overall (not per minute). However, when it came to check-out, I was amazed to receive a bill of over $350 Mexican pesos for the call. I said no way, and explained that I only made this call because I had been told it was only $11 pesos. In the end the person on reception told me I could pay half. I wasn't happy about this as it was their mistake.and they should have absorbed the cost of their own mistake, not passed it on to me, the customer.
I enjoy very much the location of the room, and the view. The service lady was very nice to answer all of our needs.
The decorating pillows where a bit dirty with stains. But my biggest concern was the towels which were very old and ripped, not a nice experience to dry yourself with that.
